They may have stumbled last week but this week on Dancing with the Stars Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff were flying high.
"To get a 10 from [guest judge Donnie Burns], the premiere ballroom judge of the world, I'm feeling pretty good."
But on a night when the couples performed a routine on their own as well as a team cha cha, Macchio was able to show off his sultry side – something the judges have encouraged him to do in the competition – while dancing to Lady Gaga's hit song "Born This Way."

Petra Nemcova Is Like Mother Teresa, Says Karina Smirnoff
Originally posted 04/20/2011 01:45PM
In most competitions, your competitors usually want to see you fail – unless, that is, you are Petra Nemcova.
While the quickstep proved a giant misstep this week for the Dancing with the Stars contestant, her fellow cast members had nothing but glowing praise for the supermodel and tsunami survivor who has dedicated her life to charity work.
"I don't know how to take [her elimination], because I love her," former rival Kirstie Alley told PEOPLE shortly after the announcement of Tuesday night's results. "She's the sweetest, most amazing, bright spirit in the universe."
Nemcova's spirit proved infectious – even at the lowest of times on the show.

Nemcova, 31 – who has lasted longer than the four other supermodel competitors on the show in the past – doesn't believe in what is considered "the supermodel curse." So, does she deserve another chance to prove that the supposed curse is wrong?

If you think Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba are tough, get a load of George Lopez.
The talk show host had a field day with the season 12 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, making some brutal comments about the show's famous contestants.
Of Monday night's leader, Ralph Macchio, Lopez said, "He cut a mean rug, then took the rug that he cut and glued it to his head."
