George Jones Remembered by Country Stars

He was the "greatest singer of all time," according to Brad Paisley, and on Friday, legendary singer George Jones's passing had the country community remembering him fondly. Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and others took to Twitter to share their love and respect of the singer, who died at age 81 Friday.

Jones was scheduled to start his farewell tour this May, culminating with a final concert this November in Nashville, Tenn. Tickets were already sold out for the show which was to include Garth Brooks, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Rogers, Kid Rock and Cyndi Lauper.

Randy Travis is easing back into the spotlight four months after he was arrested while nude and allegedly drunk and belligerent on a Texas highway.

The country star, 53, is performing Friday night at the American Giving Awards in Pasadena for a show airing Saturday night on NBC. This follows his November appearance on CMT Crossroads with the Avett Brothers.

"Randy is doing great. Life is good," says his lawyer Larry Friedman. "He's given up drinking alcohol. He's drinking eight glasses of water a day or more. He's on a strict exercise regimen. … He's in the best shape he's ever been in in his life."

Country singer Randy Travis, recently arrested in Texas for an alcohol-related offence – and naked at the time he was busted – is in trouble once again.

"We got a phone call at around 10 or 10:30 [Thursday] night about a personal family issue occurring between an estranged husband and wife. The wife was reportedly the girlfriend of Randy Travis," Officer David Tilley, of the Plano, Texas, Police Department, told PEOPLE on Friday morning.

"Randy intervened and reportedly an assault took place between Randy and husband. There were no injuries reported," said Tilley.

It wasn't a sight you see every day.

When Randy Travis was arrested for an alcohol-related offense Tuesday, Texas police found him naked after crashing his car. Now, the 911 call that led the police to Travis has been released, revealing a caller who reports finding a "guy lying in the road."

The caller also details his location – he was near Tioga, Texas, 60 miles north of Dallas – and says the man he found "appears to be non-responsive" and notes "a couple of cones scattered" by the man.

Randy Travis has been arrested for an alcohol-related offense – once again. This time, in the nude.

The country singer suffered cuts and bruises when he crashed his car Tuesday night, and was arrested shortly before midnight on suspicion of driving while intoxicated near Tioga, Texas, 60 miles north of Dallas.

Sheriff's troopers responding to a 911 call reporting a man was lying in the roadway. There they found a naked Travis, who had a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" on Travis's breath, according to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office.

Nearly two weeks after Randy Travis's arrest for public intoxication in Texas, a police video has surfaced that shows the country star cooperating with officers as he's handcuffed and taken to jail.

In the clip (watch above), recorded by a dashboard camera in the police car, officers approach a parked car where they find Travis. They ask his name, which he gives, and then ask if he's been drinking.

"Yes sir, I have," responds Travis, 52, "but I'm not driving, as you can see."

Randy Travis Arrested for Public Intoxication

Country singer Randy Travis was arrested early Monday morning on a charge of public intoxication after police in Sanger, Texas, reportedly found him smelling of alcohol, slurring his words and clutching an open bottle of wine in front of a church.

The "Honky Tonk Moon" singer, 52, who was in a parked car, told police he'd just gotten into a fight with his girlfriend – he split from his wife of 19 years in 2010, according to news reports.

"Mr. Travis was unaware of his location and kept asking me to take him home," the officer stated, according to NBC 5 DFW.

One of country music's longest-lasting couples have called it quits.

After 19 years, Randy Travis, 51, and his manager/wife Elizabeth "Lib" Travis have ended their marriage. "The divorce was finalized as of this morning," spokesperson Maureen O'Connor confirmed to PEOPLE on Friday.

The couple filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in Santa Fe, NM. The court papers say a "state of incompatibility exists between the two parties," the Associated Press reports.
