Reese Witherspoon & Jim Toth Have 'Great Chemistry' While Shopping in N.Y.C.

Despite their recent run-in with the law, Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth seemed to be as in love as ever in New York on Tuesday.
The couple stopped into SoHo's C. Wonder but "they came in separately and held hands as they perused the store," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "When they were in the back of the store, they even snuck in a smooch!"
The Mud actress couldn't hide her smile around Toth and purchased two pairs of sunglasses.
"They seemed to have great chemistry together and while they were checking out, they were hugging and cuddling," the source adds. "They clearly aren't afraid of PDA."

Hats off to Reese Witherspoon.
After a busy week dealing with the fallout surrounding her April 19 disorderly conduct arrest – which included an appearance on Good Morning America – the actress, 37, seems to have made peace with her run-in with the law.
The mother of three was photographed sporting a hat with the City of Atlanta Police Department's insignia on it when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday.

In the latest piece of embarrassing cop-car dashboard footage, Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth can be heard bickering with each other over her behavior.
"He's arresting us. For what? What have I done?" the actress, 37, can be heard demanding of her husband.

Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth have entered pleas and will pay a few hundred dollars total in fines to close the books on their infamous Atlanta traffic stop.
"The pending criminal matters against Ms. Reese Witherspoon and Mr. Jim Toth have been resolved," says Ronda "Roni" Graham, Deputy Solicitor for the Municipal Court of Atlanta, in a statement.
Although the matter set loose an avalanche of bad publicity, Toth will avoid jail time stemming from his April 19 arrest.

Taken by an Atlanta police dash cam during her husband Jim Toth's DUI traffic stop, the videos show the actress getting out of the car and berating an officer before he handcuffs her.

Looking contrite, humbled and wiser for what happened, Reese Witherspoon addressed her arrest two weeks ago at the top of her interview with Good Morning America on Thursday – calling it "one of those nights."
"We went out to a restaurant in Atlanta, and we had one too many glasses of wine," the Oscar winner and mother of three, 37, said, referring to herself and her husband, agent Jim Toth. After their car, which Toth was driving, was stopped, he was charged with DUI, and she with disorderly conduct.
"We thought we were fine to drive," she said, "and we were absolutely not, and we are so sorry and just so embarrassed." She added, "We know better and we shouldn't have done that."

Reese Witherspoon is getting back to life as usual.
"She is happy to be home with her kids again," a source says of the actress, 37, who returned to L.A. on Monday after her April 19 arrest in Atlanta for disorderly conduct and her husband Jim Toth's DUI arrest the same night.
Her older children, 13-year-old Ava and 9-year-old Deacon, had been staying with their father, actor Ryan Phillippe, while Witherspoon was on location in Atlanta shooting the drama The Good Lie.
