Céline Dion's Montreal-Area Home Broken Into

There's no place like home – especially Céline Dion's.

Just ask the guy who was caught after allegedly breaking in.

In fact, Daniel Bedard, 36, was about to step into the bathtub of the Montreal-area residence on Monday when law officers, tipped off by the alarm system, showed up at the house with a canine unit, police tell the Associated Press.

Already, they say, the bather had helped himself to some sweets from the singer's kitchen.

Celine Dion's Husband: She Has Not Scheduled Our Twins' Birth

Contrary to reports, Celine Dion has not scheduled a C-section to deliver her twin boys on Oct. 22 – and has not made outrageous demands of a Florida hospital, the entertainer's husband and her rep tell PEOPLE.

"There is nothing scheduled. We do not have a date," Dion's husband and manager, René Angélil, 68, tells PEOPLE.

"They want Celine's pregnancy to go as long as possible, at least until the first week of November," adds Dion's rep, referring to the singer's doctors. "She would never intentionally endanger her unborn children by scheduling a birth early like this."

Celine Dion's Husband Sued for Assault

A Los Angeles woman accuses the singer's spouse, Rene Angelil, of forcing himself on her in a Las Vegas hotel room two years ago and then paying her to keep quiet.
