Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth hosted an intimate, private wedding over the weekend – and their guest list read like a who's who of Hollywood.
It comes as no surprise, perhaps, that an Academy Award winner and top Hollywood agent would have a star-studded social circle, but like any other guest list there's a story behind how the folks who attended the nuptials landed an invite.
Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan
The Iron Man star relies on a super agent to help navigate his career: Toth himself! While the groom is pals with the Downey Jr., Witherspoon also has a friendship with the actor and even had him and his wife up to her Ojai, Calif., estate in 2008 where they went hiking.

Her two-year-relationship with Bradley Cooper now history, Renée Zellweger has also shed two of her apartments on Manhattan Upper East Side, which have been on the market since November.
The buyer is Deep Impact and TV's Joan of Arc actress Leelee Sobieski, 28, and Zellweger's asking price was $8.95 million, reports The New York Times, relying on those familiar with the transaction. The final offer was not disclosed, and there was no comment from Sobieski's rep.

Before she was Oscar-winning actress Renée Zellweger, she was a Texas girl who started her career out small.
Among her first roles: appearing in a beer commercial in her home state of Texas and getting chased by a chainsaw on one of her first movie sets. At the time, Zellweger never imagined the skyrocketing Hollywood career that would be ahead of her.
"I have never had those thoughts before," Zellweger, 41, told PEOPLE before being inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame at the awards ceremony hosted by the Austin Film Society. "I moved to L.A. because I just ran out of things to do. If Austin Studios had been here at the time, I might not have gone anywhere."
