Cheryl Burke and Rick Fox can relate to Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani.
Only one week after Patridge and Dovolani's jaw-dropping elimination on Dancing with the Stars, Burke and Fox experienced what they considered a premature departure from the show.
"This is the most shocking elimination I've ever been through out of all ten seasons," Burke told reporters backstage immediately following Tuesday's show. "That just shows you that you really need to vote. At the end of the day, no one's really safe."

According to his ex-wife, Rick Fox has a lot going for him on Dancing with the Stars.
"He's an athlete," says Vanessa Williams, who was married to the former NBA star from 1999 to 2004. "He's a competitor, for sure."
But that doesn't mean she's rooting for him to win. Williams, who describes herself as a "huge fan" of DWTS, says frontrunner Jennifer Grey has the best chance of taking home the crown.

It was story night at Dancing With the Stars Monday and viewers saw a new tale unfold. Jennifer Grey, whose high marks garnered her the leader board's top spot two weeks in a row, was bested by Audrina Patridge in week three. Patridge and pro partner Tony Dovolani earned the evening's top score of 26 for their moving soldier coming home-themed waltz, which Len Goodman called "the most touching dance."
That's not to say Grey and partner Derek Hough were completely knocked out of the picture. Their schoolboy fantasy-themed samba landed them in second place, tied with Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Bodyguard themed samba and Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke's dejected ballplayer-themed samba, which Carrie Ann called "hot and sexy."
It's regarded as bad luck to open an umbrella indoors, but Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya's lovers in the park-themed Fox Trot, which landed them in third place for the night with 23 points, had the judges showering them with praise. "So charming," Carrie Ann gushed. Kyle Massey and partner Lacey Schwimmer also received a 23 for their waltz, which told the story of finding love in a coffee shop.

He hasn't stepped out on the Dancing With the Stars ballroom floor yet, but Rick Fox is already worried about wardrobe malfunctions.
"I'm really disturbed a little bit by the fact that there are no pockets," the former Los Angeles Laker says in this new video ahead of Monday's DWTS season premiere on ABC. "I need to put my hands somewhere. I don't even have a back pocket, so I can't even put my wallet in."
Thankfully, Fox's partner, Cheryl Burke, is an old pro – and she can help put his mind at ease. Along with pointing out that he doesn't need pockets – or a wallet – while dancing, Burke says Fox has a lot going for him as a competitor. "He's got a beautiful smile, which he can use on the dance floor, hopefully," she says. "And you know, his height [Fox is 6'7''] is actually not that bad of a disadvantage, because once he uses his height, he actually is very powerful."
