Survivor & Amazing Race's Rob and Amber Become Parents

They survived two seasons apiece on both CBS's Survivor and The Amazing Race and even their own FOX Reality Channel show, Rob and Amber: Against the Odds. Now Amber and Rob Mariano are taking on their most daunting challenge yet – parenthood.
Amber, 30, gave birth to daughter Lucia Rose on the Fourth of July at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., Rob, 33, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

MARRIED: Survivor and The Amazing Race star couple Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich finally went public with their wedding Tuesday, on a CBS special documenting the ceremony, which was held in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Paradise Island. Asked beforehand if she had cold feet, the bride-to-be replied: "I'll admit the fact that we've had our times when we've had it out, and stressed on each other, but that's why we're there for each other." As for the theme of the wedding – "beach chic" – Rob said that his friends didn't quite get what that meant: "They said, Who's the beach chick coming?'"

Desperate Housewives Take Over The View

ADDED: Desperate Housewives stars Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross will each spend a day during the week of Feb. 7 co-hosting ABC's The View while the show broadcasts from Disney's El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. The Wisteria Lane residents will be filling in for show moderator Meredith Vieira, who will not be making the trip out West from New York because of family obligations, says the network.

Mom-and-daughter pals Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson enjoyed a recent afternoon together in New York's Greenwich Village, where we spotted them arm in arm, skipping along the sidewalk while shopping and visiting friends. Kate left pal Liv Tyler's apartment early in the afternoon, and then she and Goldie made a brief pit stop at one of their favorite Village eateries, Bar Pitti. The mother-daughter team – dressed like twins in tank tops, baggy khaki pants, flip-flops and big sunglasses – roamed the streets window-shopping for a few hours before Kate stopped into ABC Carpet and Home (Goldie waited outside). The close-knit, lookalike ladies lunched together again a few days later – this time with Hudson's hubby Chris Robinson and their 7-month-old baby, Ryder – at Barney's.

Survivor sweeties Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich made it clear from the moment of their televised bethrothal that they would have a hard time deciding where to settle, as he hails from Massachusetts and she from Pennsylvania. But that may be coming to an end: The lovebirds tell us they've been looking at properties in – drum roll please – Florida. Seems they've been renting a vacation home there since the Survivor: All-Stars finale, and they are excited about how far their million-dollar-plus winnings could go compared to the sky-high prices of the Northeast. "(We) could buy (a house) that's right on the beach," Amber says of Florida. "So that's what we're thinking about doing. We like it down here."

Marc Anthony wouldn't say a thing about his surprise weekend nuptials with Jennifer Lopez while making the press rounds this week in New York – he wouldn't even admit that it happened. But The View's Star Jones was not to be deterred. While he was waiting in the green room before his Tuesday appearance on the show, Jones, a longtime friend of Anthony's, greeted him just before he went onstage. "He looks up and he mouths to her, 'I love you,'" a source tells us. "So she says back to him, 'I know you love me, but you married that other girl!' The whole room broke into laughter," including Anthony.

ROB & AMBERAt last there were no more backs to stab, no more stale rice to choke down, no more fat naked guys to avoid spooning with at night. There was only a long bus ride to the airport in Panama after the last tribal council for Rob and Amber, the two finalists from Survivor: All-Stars. "They were asleep and they were wasted away; I mean there was nothing left of them," says host Jeff Probst, who rode with them. "But they were in each other's arms and they just looked so content. I was watching them thinking, 'This is a couple in love.' "
