Originally posted 10/10/2012 01:30PM
Recent news of Danny DeVito's split from Rhea Perlman proves it's not Always Sunny in Philadelphia, even though the cast's disposition certainly is.
The cast and crew of FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia celebrated the season 8 premiere at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Tuesday.
But DeVito, who plays Frank Reynolds on the series, was visibly absent from the red carpet and screening following Monday's announcement that after 30 years of marriage, the actor, 67, and Perlman, 64, are separating.

The cast of the FX comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has always been skinny on the verge of scrawny, with the barrel-keg exception of Danny DeVito. Now, surprisingly, star Rob McElhenney has gone and done a "DeNiro."
Recent photos confirm that the 34-year-old actor, who co-created the TV series about a bunch of mindless lowlifes, has been keeping his head fully immersed in a feedbag causing him to reportedly gain about 50 lbs.
With his beard, he now looks like Kenny Rogers' son.
