Bachelor and Bachelorette Stars Raise $60,000 for Charity!

What a (charitable) success!
Fans of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette raised close to $60,000 for the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation during a recent auction at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., and the reality show contestants were out in full force.
Recently single Kiptyn Locke and Roberto Martinez – who auctioned themselves off for a rugged day date, that included horseback riding, a surfing lesson and a fireside hangout on the beach – hung out together for much of the night and got a ton of attention from female attendees. But neither guy was looking for romance. They truly were there for the charity.

Fans of The Bachelorette can now bid on dream dates of their own with such past season hunks as newly-single Kiptyn Locke and Roberto Martinez, who split with season 6's Ali Fedotowsky, as they auction themselves off for charity.
Locke and Martinez are planning a San Diego outdoor adventure, and it's being auctioned off online to raise money for a charity supporting colorectal cancer patients.
Their day includes horseback riding, a surfing lesson and a fireside hangout on the beach. (Though it's not meant to end in roses or romance – sorry, ladies!)

It's been done many times before: The winning contestant on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette finds true love. And then the relationship falls apart and they return to the show as the ones handing out the roses.
But will Roberto Martinez, whose breakup from Ali Fedotowsky came after an 18-month engagement, follow suit?
"It's far too soon to say who the next Bachelor will be, but Roberto is definitely someone producers are considering," a source close to the show tells PEOPLE.

After meeting her fiancé Roberto Martinez on The Bachelorette last year, Ali Fedotowsky says she was ready to wed – and right away.
But after an 18-month engagement, the pair called it quits on Nov. 21 – and now, Fedotowsky is speaking out about what went wrong.
"I wouldn't be being truthful if I said this came out of nowhere," a tearful Fedotowsky, 27, tells PEOPLE for its new issue, on newsstands Friday.
"We definitely had been having problems. But I had always believed that we could work it out."

Ali Fedotowsky is well aware of the fact that it's been more than a year since viewers witnessed her engagement to Roberto Martinez on The Bachelorette season 6 finale.
So when is the wedding? Not anytime soon, Fedotowsky tells PEOPLE.
"We're still engaged; we're still living together," Fedotowsky, 27, says. "We just don't feel the need to walk down the aisle right now."
Despite speculation that their union is on the rocks, Fedotowsky says the couple is doing just fine, and that the pressure to set a wedding date following their televised courtship and engagement overwhelmed them. Another complication: difficulty in scheduling a televised wedding.

Ali Fedotowsky Postpones Wedding Due to Injury

Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky has had to put her wedding plans with fiancé Roberto Martinez on hold while she recovers from an injury to her femur, for which she underwent surgery in July.
"We had a date set, and that date has now passed," the reality starlet, 26, told PEOPLE on Tuesday. "The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears."
"But I want to walk down the aisle," she said, "I don't want to limp down the aisle."
Instead, the couple spent their would-be wedding day together.
