Robin Thicke Is 'So Proud' of His Super Sperm

Bump watch is familiar territory for the women of Hollywood, but when whispers of a possible pregnancy for Paula Patton began circulating in 2008, the Precious star found it particularly painful.
"That's when you realize you do care what people think," she tells the March issue of Women's Health.
Although she was not pregnant at the time – a baby doll dress and a few extra pounds ignited the rumors – Patton, 34, and husband Robin Thicke soon decided to take the plunge and pursue parenthood.
"You can get into that cycle of 'What's next? What's next?' " she says. "But I thought, 'I want to have children and I'm not getting any younger.' "
Because she had been using birth control, Patton admits she worried they would experience difficulty conceiving a baby. Those fears were unfounded, however, for Thicke's "super sperm" did the trick soon after the couple began trying. "He's so proud of himself, it's ridiculous," Patton quips of her husband of four years.

It will be a boy for Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton!
Thicke, 32, tells Essence.com he's already thinking about the life lessons he'll impart to his son. "Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we'll experience that together," he says. "That's the beauty of having a child."

Robin Thicke and Wife Already Picked Baby's Name

As Robin Thicke gets ready to become a father, he can check one item off his to-do list: the baby's name.
"We like Julian if it's a boy and Isabella if it's a girl," he told PEOPLE Saturday while hosting at The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas.
Thicke's wife, Paula Patton, is due with their first child in May.
"My wife is good," he said, "I'm just trying to make her as comfortable as possible and hopefully nature will take care of the rest and give us a healthy baby."

The Gossip Girl is sure to set tongues a wagging with her video, which sees her writhing through a dizzying number of costume changes and sets while crooning about her lack of a love life, as singer Robin Thicke musically interjects – clad in a red leather jacket.

There's a baby on the way for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton!
Patton, 33, is pregnant, according to a message posted on Facebook by Thicke's mother, former soap opera star Gloria Loring.
"I am going to be Nana Gloria again as my son Robin Thicke & his wife Paula are expecting their first baby!," Loring wrote.
This will be the first child for the high school sweethearts, who married in June 2005.

Robin Thicke serenaded his wife, Paula Patton, on their first date 15 years ago – and he still relies on his voice to keep the romance alive.
"I read to her," Thicke, 31, told PEOPLE after his performance at the Manhattan magazine premiere issue party in New York City Tuesday. "She likes me to do that when we're on vacation," he says of Patton, 32, who has starred in the films Mirrors and Deja Vu. "She'll sit next to me and I just read to her."
