Blake Lively's father, Ernie Lively, who suffered a massive heart attack in 2003, will now have more energy to chase after his grandkids following a groundbreaking heart procedure on Nov. 7.
"My youngest daughter is newly married and wants a big family," says Lively, 66, about Blake, 26, and son-in-law Ryan Reynolds, 37. "She says she wants 30 kids. I said, 'Why don't you start with one?'"
Lively, a veteran actor who lives in Heber City, Utah, with wife Elain, also 66, previously had only half of a functioning heart and had trouble walking up a flight of stairs.

November 18 is National Married to A Scorpio Support Day. Scorpios are wonderful, caring people, but there's also a reason the adjective "intense" is frequently applied to them, and it's probably the same reason that there's a national day of support for the people who choose to marry them.

Ryan Reynolds has nothing but love for Michael J. Fox – especially since they're Canadian, too.
"I've gotten to know his family over the years and they're just amazing," the actor, 37, told PEOPLE Saturday at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research Benefit in New York. "They're just an incredible lot of people."
"We have that connection – we're all from the same part of the world," he added, referring to their mutual upbringing in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Another attribute he and Fox have in common? A shared mission.

As if being married to Sexiest Man Alive Ryan Reynolds weren't enough, Blake Lively insists that she doesn't have to suffer for her fabulous figure.
When asked if she follows a fitness routine, Lively said, "None!"
"I'm lucky to have an active lifestyle," she says to Vogue Paris. "I'm always on the go. I don't need to have a [trainer] or pay attention to what I eat. I can't start my day without a cup of hot milk chocolate or finish without crunching a few dark chocolate squares. It's good for my morale."

If you have nothing nice to say … say it in print? It's probably not the best way to air your grievances, but it seems to be the motto among celebrities penning memoirs of late.
On Friday, word leaked of Tori Spelling's dis at Katie Holmes in her forthcoming book Spelling It Like It Is, in which she describes the former Mrs. Cruise as "plastic."
"As I sat waiting outside his music room, I heard his prior appointment working with him in the other room. It was some actress singing horribly off-key," Spelling writes of bumping into Holmes during a visit to her vocal coach. "I heard him say good-bye and then the actress walked out of the room. It was Katie Holmes."
