Scarlett Johansson Never Thought She'd Get Married

There were plenty of people surprised by Scarlett Johansson's remote Canadian wedding to Ryan Reynolds last September – and you can count Scarlett among them.

"I never really thought about getting married – it just kind of happened," the actress, 25, tells Glamour for its November issue, hitting newsstands Oct. 6. "It seemed natural, the right thing to do. It was kind of a celebration of the time."

But Johansson says she likes the feeling, even if she doesn't feel all that different. "I think the only difference is that I'm kind of making my own little family now, which is funny," she says. "It’s like a little bit of a tribe. You hope that a relationship makes you better, that you learn things about yourself."

Reps Deny Scarlett & Ryan Fight Caused Him to Miss Comic-Con

Don't believe the hype: Ryan Reynolds did not skip Comic-Con over a feud with his wife Scarlett Johansson, according to reps for both stars.

"[The report] is completely untrue," the reps tell PEOPLE. "Warner Brothers never planned to have Green Lantern as part of their panel at this year's Comic-Con and Ryan is in Europe shooting a film."

Reports have circulated online that Johansson, 24, and Reynolds, 32, got into a heated argument which caused him to skip the popular annual event.

Adds a source close to the couple, "Any reports of a fight are ridiculous." Johansson and Reynolds quietly tied the knot in September 2008.

Even enviable-looking Scarlett Johansson couldn't disguise her fear at having to don a skintight catsuit for her Iron Man 2 role as the Russian spy Black Widow.

"I kicked some major butt," the actress, 24, told PEOPLE at Comic-Con of her training regimen to make her a shapely superhero ready for acrobatic battle scenes. "It was many, many, hours, days, and months of stunt training and strength training, but it's fun because I had a goal. The goal was the Lycra catsuit."

Was she happy with the results? "Finally I was, yes," she said with a laugh. "You put that much work into something and you put it on and you better be happy with it."

Ryan Reynolds: The Truth About Nude Scenes

Originally posted 06/03/2009 04:05PM

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock let it all hang out in their new movie, The Proposal – literally.

The pair, who play co-workers pretending to be an engaged couple, found themselves filming completely in the buff during a rollicking nude sequence, which started out "awkward," but ended up just being business as usual, according to Reynolds.

"Filming a scene that involves being entirely naked and takes a couple days can be a little awkward," the actor, 32, tells PEOPLE. "Thankfully you're there for so long and you're doing it for so long that you dispense with the awkwardness pretty quickly and start to have mundane, normal conversations – the difference being you're not wearing pants."

Ryan Reynolds Auctioning Premiere Tickets

Originally posted 04/20/2009 10:10AM

Ever dream of attending a movie premiere on the arm of Ryan Reynolds? Well, wife Scarlett Johansson might not approve of that. But here's a chance to get close! Reynolds is auctioning off tickets to the upcoming premieres of his two movies, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Proposal – and it's all for a good cause.

Reynolds is selling the rare chance to hit the red carpet with him to raise funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research.

Lucky bidders for the Wolverine tickets will not only attend the April 28 premiere at Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood, but will be seated "near Reynolds," according to the Foundation. Sign up and bid for your chance here.

The winner of tickets to The Proposal, which also stars Sandra Bullock, will be seated in the very same row as Reynolds at the film's June 1 premiere, and will also be invited to the exclusive after party.

Reynolds, whose father has Parkinsons disease, serves as the celebrity chair for Team Fox, the grassroots fundraising arm of the MJFF. In November of 2008 he raised over $100,000 for the Foundation by completing the ING New York City Marathon.

Despite a case of bronchitis, Ryan Reynolds finished last year's ING New York City Marathon a half an hour ahead of schedule – and nearly paid for it with his health.

"An hour after [I finished], I thought I would have to go to the hospital," Reynolds, 32, reveals in the March issue of Men's Health, on sale Feb. 10.

Just days before participating in the marathon – the Canadian actor's first – he fell ill. But within just a few miles, he says, he was bolstered at the sight of Michael J. Fox, on whose foundation's behalf he was running. (Reynolds's father, Jim, has lived with Parkinson's disease for the past 15 years.)
