In his first TV interview since his top-secret marriage to Scarlett Johansson, Ryan Reynolds stops by the Rachael Ray show Wednesday to talk marathons, munchies and marriage.

Having recently completed the New York City Marathon in honor of his father who suffers from Parkinson's disease, Reynolds, 32, brought along surprise guest Michael J. Fox to discuss the 26.2-mile ordeal.

When Ray asked about Reynolds's pre-race blogs – which chronicled his concern about nipple bleeding, a common affliction for marathoners thanks to the friction from their T-shirts – the Definitely, Maybe star gamely bantered back, "Thankfully all three nipples are fine."

Mission accomplished! Ryan Reynolds completed the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday – and lived to tell about it.

"I'm still standing. I'm very excited about that," he told reporters after crossing the finish line in 3 hours and 50 minutes, faster than he anticipated. "It was an incredible experience."

Reynolds says in the last leg of the race, he was motivated to keep going by one special spectator.

"When I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Avenue, I gained about 15 pounds in goose bumps," said Reynolds. "It kind of pushed me through the last six miles or so."

Ryan Reynolds is planning to run the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday – against his better judgment.

"I would sooner be prime minister of the moon than run another marathon," the actor said in New York on Friday. "I've been really lucky. I didn't have any toenails fall off or anything disgusting like that. I still have all three nipples."

The actor said his new wife, actress Scarlett Johansson, has been giving him a lot of love and support, and would be there Sunday. "She'll be on the road somewhere," he says. "She better be."

Ryan Reynolds is an adventurous guy: He just took the plunge and now he's ready to risk bloody nipples.

Last month, the actor married Scarlett Johansson in an intimate wedding in Canada. Now the Definitely, Maybe star is tackling the New York City Marathon on Nov. 2, according to an open letter he wrote on The Huffington Post.

"I am not a runner," writes Reynolds, 31. "I am a running joke. Waking up at 4:30 a.m. and jogging anywhere from 11 to 23 miles has been nothing short of horrifying."

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynold's Canadian wedding location wasn't just to paparazzi-proof their nuptials last weekend, but to allow the couple and their guests to enjoy the great outdoors on Vancouver Island, PEOPLE reports in its latest issue, on sale Friday.

Even the groom, 31, took advantage of the setting – fishing for salmon and halibut while other guests went horseback riding and mountain biking on the grounds of the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, a luxurious outpost of 20 canvas tents that caters to nature lovers.

"Scarlett wanted a ceremony with just family and a few select friends," says a source close to the 23-year-old bride. Less than 40 people attended the wedding – but those who didn't make the cut shouldn't feel left out.

Attended by only a handful of close friends and family, the ceremony was held at a remote wilderness retreat outside of Vancouver, B.C.

This is the first marriage for both. The couple had announced their engagement in May.

Johansson, 23, began dating Reynolds, 31, last year shortly after his split from singer Alanis Morissette, who recently expressed well wishes on her ex's engagement.
