Better late than never is the case for anyone eagerly waiting for a glimpse of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on their super secret wedding day.
And we mean glimpse literally – the sole photo of the pair posted on Martha Stewart Weddings Thursday is a beautiful shot of them holding hands. Lively, 25, wore a couture Marchesa ball gown, and her hubby, 36, donned a Burberry suit with custom leather suspenders.
"They wanted to celebrate in privacy – and in style. And while they remain protective of images of them on their most heartfelt occasion, they graciously let us share pictures of the elements we created together," reads the first slide of the pastry-heavy gallery touting the winter 2013 issue of MSW.

Blake Lively's been photographed in a wedding dress … but it's not the Marchesa gown she wore to wed Ryan Reynolds during their super secret ceremony last month.
The newlywed, 25, was snapped donning a gold and cream Georges Chakra Couture strapless gown on the set of Gossip Girl on Tuesday, as she stood opposite costar Penn Badgley.
Lively's real life wedding dress will be revealed in a photo package in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, as the event planning powerhouse herself was behind the affair.

A few weeks ago, my wife and I watched Crazy Stupid Love (I know, I know, we're a little late to the party). In one scene, Ryan Gosling seduces Emma Stone by taking his shirt off.
I turned to my wife to see her reaction. She was beet red and had her jaw wide open. When I asked if she enjoyed the movie, she uttered, "Ryan Gosling really was … fit looking."
(I worked out twice as hard the subsequent day, by the way.)
The fact is, Ryan got in amazing shape for the film. He has become part of a long list of leading men who have exercised and dieted to make their on-screen performance more impactful.

The setting, the dress, the decorations – Blake Lively knew exactly what she wanted, in intimate detail, for her wedding last month to Ryan Reynolds.
"She had pages and pages of pictures. She knew everything that she wanted from the very beginning to the very end," wedding planner Tara Guérard told PEOPLE Monday at the Martha Stewart Weddings Bridal Fashion Week party in New York.
"The problem was she had 250 photos, and she wanted all those elements in her wedding," Guérard added.
