Trista and Ryan Sutter Look Back After 10 Years Together

They're known as the first couple of The Bachelor franchise – and for good reason. Trista and Ryan Sutter, who met on the first season of The Bachelorette, will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary later this year.
"Did I think when it all started that I would be married for almost ten years and have two children? No!" Trista says, opening up in PEOPLE's special issue celebrating 25 seasons of The Bachelor.
Trista says she and Ryan, who reside in Vail, Colo., with their two children (son Max, 5, and daughter Blakesley, 4), have been able to create a wonderful life for themselves by choosing when to step into the spotlight.

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum Are Married

It’s official: Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and her fiancé J.P. Rosenbaum tied the knot Saturday afternoon in Pasadena, Calif.
Surrounded by family, friends and fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni like Ali Fedotowsky, Emily Maynard, and Jason and Molly Mesnick, the couple said "I do" in an outdoor ceremony officiated by franchise host Chris Harrison.
"Today is all about our friends and family," Hebert, whose nuptials will air Dec. 16 on a two-hour special on ABC, tells PEOPLE. "It's about standing with J.P., looking around at all the people we love in the same room there to celebrate our love."

Trista Sutter Turns 40!

Former (and first!) Bachelorette Trista Sutter celebrated her 40th birthday in Vail, Colo., Friday night with her husband Ryan Sutter and 150 of their closest friends and family.
"It's truly been the best party ever thanks to my husband," Trista tells PEOPLE of the bash held at Bol in Vail Village. "Believe me, there were happy tears at the party. I was in love with the fact that I knew everyone there."
Ryan planned the party for his wife, whom he met and proposed to on The Bachelorette's 2003 inaugural season finale. The two married in December 2003 and have two children, son Maxwell, 5 and daughter Blakesley, 3.
Guests toasted Trista with Martini & Rossi Asti cocktails as they enjoyed bowling and hit he dance floor with tunes provided by DJ Logic. Singer Brett Dennen, one of Trista's favorite performers, did a special set for the birthday girl.

Ryan Sutter Completes 'Painful' Boston Marathon for Ethan Zohn

Whenever Ryan Sutter was looking for a pick-me-up along the 26.2 mile course of Monday's Boston Marathon, he needed only to think of his pal Ethan Zohn.
Sutter was running the race for former Survivor winner, who was unable to participate due to a recurrence of Hodgkin's lymphoma.
"My inspiration was Ethan, but no matter what I did physically it's nothing compared to what he and other people with cancer do every day," the former Bachelorette star told the Boston Herald. "That kept me going."

Survivor winner Ethan Zohn was unable to try to qualify for the Boston Marathon this year since he's battling a recurrence of Hodgkin's lymphoma – so his friend, former Bachelorette star Ryan Sutter, is stepping up to the plate.
Sutter will run Monday's marathon in support of Grassroot Soccer, the charity Zohn co-founded.
"Ryan is proof that you don't have to have a diagnosis to be affected by a life-threatening disease," Zohn, 38, tells PEOPLE. "I'm so impressed with his passion to help others. He stepped up for me before and is doing it again. ... To me, that's inspiring!"

Celebrities Take Their Marks at the NYC Marathon

There will be plenty of recognizable runners in the crowd at the New York City Marathon on Sunday.
Al Roker, cancer survivor Ethan Zohn, Chilean miner Edison Peña, Howard Stern sidekick Robin Quivers, Anthony Edwards, Ryan Sutter and Veronica Webb are among this year's celebrity participants.
"Almost everybody's bucket list includes running the ING New York City Marathon," Roker said in a statement. "Just the though of being able to start this race gives me goose bumps. As does the fear that the weather might turn ugly."

Ethan Zohn and Ryan Sutter Go Head-to-Head in New York Marathon

Survivor: Africa winner Ethan Zohn was unable to race in the New York Marathon due to cancer treatments last year, so his pal, Bachelorette star Ryan Sutter, took his place. But now that Zohn is healthy, both men will run this year – against each other.
"Ryan and I have decided to compete against each other on the streets of NYC,” Zohn says, "but this is truly a celebration of great friends leading by example and using their fame to create change."
The guys will start the Nov. 7 race together, but whomever finishes first earns bragging rights of more money earned toward his respective charity, Grassroot Soccer for Zohn and First Descents for Sutter.
"Ethan and I have been good friends for some time," Sutter says. "His fight against cancer and his continued success with Grassroots Soccer are demonstrations of his incredible strength of spirit and kind heart. I look forward to competing on behalf of First Descents against Ethan and GRS to raise awareness and funds for two inspirational organizations."

While Max, 2 ½, had fun playing with his dad in the pool and the sandbox, Blakesley, 10 months, stayed close to her mom. "Trista looked amazing in a white bikini," a guest tells us, adding that Max was running around while Trista and her daughter lounged on a sunbed. Says the guest: "Trista and Ryan looked very happy together and even shared a few kisses."
