Sam Worthington Arrested in Atlanta

Sam Worthington has gotten in many on-screen brawls, but on Saturday, he was arrested for a getting into a real life fight – and had to be subdued with pepper spray.
The star of Terminator Salvation, Clash of the Titans and Avatar was arrested for fighting on Saturday in Atlanta. He was charged with disorderly conduct, but the charge was dismissed in court Monday morning, according to news reports.
The actor, 36, tangled with a doorman at the Vortex bar and grill when he was turned away for being verbally abusive and apparently intoxicated, according to a police report obtained by Celebuzz.com.

Shirts off, boys! These loincloths leave very little to the imagination – and we're not complaining. There's nothing cold-blooded about Twilight star Kellan Lutz, 25, in his upcoming film Immortals – he may still look a little pale, but with those abs, he's packing major heat.
He's not the only star going back in time for his fashion cues. Jake Gyllenhaal, 29, bulked up for his role in last month’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and from the looks of it, his hard work(outs) paid off.
Remember when Brad Pitt rocked a similar look? The actor, 41 at the time, played Achilles in 2004's Troy. Sam Worthington, 33, also shed most of his clothes (nice breast plate!) for his role as Perseus in the 2010 movie Clash of the Titans.
Sharpen those swords – it's going to be a chest-off!

What Courtney Love wants, Courtney Love gets.
Contrary to reports suggesting the rocker was interested in Robert Pattinson playing her late-husband Kurt Cobain in a planned biopic, Love now says she never planned to enlist the Brit.
"Isn't that so stupid, who would cast him? That's just wrong," Love told The Canadian Press. "No offense." Softening her position a bit, the Hole frontwoman later Tweeted: "HEY I LIKE R PATZ HES JUST NOT RIGHT FOR KC!"
So, who would Courtney love to play Cobain? She nominated Ryan Gosling or James McAvoy for the role.

Though there were ladies surrounding his table, the Aussie seemed more interested in hanging with his male pals. Nearby, Kristin Cavallari was happy to be the center of attention in her group of pals, greeting fellow revelers, like Jason Statham, warmly with a hug.

He may be new to moviegoers in this country, but the 32-year-old Australian hunk who plays opposite Christian Bale's in Terminator Salvation has been a mainstay in movies and TV in his home country for the last decade.
Now, Worthington is following in the footsteps of Mel Gibson, Hugh Jackman, and Russell Crowe ("My favorite actor, no question," he says) as the latest hottie from Down Under to become an American action hero. So, is he ready for it? "I don't think that anyone can really be prepared," Worthington tells PEOPLE. "I think you'd be silly."

Before he was an action star, he was a bricklayer: "I built houses," says Worthington, whose life changed course when he followed a girl to the same drama school that Mel Gibson and Cate Blanchett attended. "I never had any intention of being an actor," he says.
