Sandra Bullock and Heidi Klum had a girls' night out, partying with a group of friends at Beacher's Madhouse inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel until nearly 2 a.m. The gal pals sat in a back booth and sipped champagne, according to one onlooker. Bullock, in particular, "had a smile on her face the whole night" and danced to songs including The Clash's "Rock the Casbah" and AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long," the eyewitness said.

In a word, that sums up the new trailer for Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, the upcoming movie about a father's death on 9/11, starring Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks.
Based on the 2005 novel by Jonathan Safran Foer, the movie also stars Thomas Horn, 13, a former Jeopardy Kids' Week champion, as Bullock and Hanks's son. After his father's death, the boy discovers a key that belonged to him that takes him on a journey around New York City.
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close opens on Christmas Day and is also getting Oscar buzz.

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds's visit to Wyoming last weekend also included a low-key dinner with friends.
The Proposal costars – who a source has told PEOPLE are "like brother and sister" – made their way to Rendezvous Bistro in Jackson Hole on Sunday.
Sans Bullock's baby son Louis, who accompanied the actress, 47, and Reynolds, 34, on the trip, the duo joined two other guests for what a source says appeared to be a "really informal" meal.

That was Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock's plan last weekend, as they explored Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park – with Reynolds, 34, carrying Bullock's son Louis in a hiking backpack, TMZ reports.
Bullock, 47, has a home in the Jackson Hole area, according to the report.

George Lopez may be in transition again – his TBS talk show was canceled this week – but he knows he can always count on one close friend in particular: Sandra Bullock.
"If it wasn't for her involvement in me, or her belief in me, I would have had a very different last 10 years," Lopez, 50, told PEOPLE Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, where he threw out the first pitch to promote MasterCard's support of Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Lopez didn't speak about TBS's decision – Lopez Tonight will end its almost two-year run on Thursday – but he made it clear that without Bullock, he may never have made it to late night TV at all.

How did Sandra Bullock bounce back from a hard year?
Credit her 19-month-old son Louis, her sense of humor and her decision to jump back into the acting world in a big way.
"She was very keen to get back to work," says Stephen Daldry, who directed her in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, one of two dramas the actress, 47, has filmed since last fall.
"She threw herself in with her usual enthusiasm and energy, and she was very relaxed," he added. "She had little Louis with her, and it was a very familial environment on-set."

She previously promised fans that Ryan Reynolds was not her "lovah" – but that doesn't mean Sandra Bullock is not a great friend.
Bullock, 47, who costarred with Reynolds, 34, in the 2009 romantic comedy The Proposal, surprised the actor on the red carpet for his latest film, The Change-Up, at its Los Angeles premiere Monday night.
The Oscar winner arrived to show her support just as the red carpet buzz was winding down, and Reynolds, who was giving interviews alongside costar Jason Bateman, quickly broke free from the media to greet her.
