Sex and the City Cast Talks Nudity on Oprah

The Sex and the City cast is hitting the Oprah Winfrey Show on Thursday
– so it's inevitable that talk will turn to, well, sex and nudity.
During one choice segment, the ladies get to gabbing, and Winfrey grills Kim Cattrall about a rumor that she and
her younger beau like to cook in the buff at home. "Is that true?" the talk
show host asks. Answers Cattrall: "I was in a grocery store over the weekend
and someone slipped me an apron and said, 'Just in case it might be true,
here, protect yourself, girlfriend.'"

Sex and the City: The Movie Leaves Town

Sarah Jessica Parker, please come home.
The eagerly awaited summer release of Sex and the City: The Movie will not open in Manhattan, or even Brooklyn – but across the Atlantic, in London, on May 12, reports New York's Daily News.
New York will not get a look at the picture until two weeks later.

Robert Downey Jr. says his drug abuse and drinking led to his breakup with Sarah Jessica Parker after a seven-year relationship – even as she tried to help him cope.
"I liked to drink, and I had a drug problem, and that didn't jibe with Sarah Jessica, because it is the furthest thing from what she is," Downey Jr., 43, who stars in Iron Man (May 2), says in an interview with Parade. "She provided me a home and understanding. She tried to help me. She was so miffed when I didn't get my act together."

Sarah Jessica Parker Says, 'I Eat Everything'

She may cut a willowy figure – but Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't deprive herself in order to fit into designer duds.
"I eat everything," the actress, 43, told PEOPLE Monday night at a special screening of her new film, Smart People, co-hosted by Allure magazine's Linda Wells and The Cinema Society. "I'm just an eater. If it's free, I honestly eat everything."
As if to prove a point, the Sex and the City star rattled off a list of all the food she'd consumed in the past 48 hours: "Last night I had steak and some lamb shank. And I had some roasted chicken and some cassoulet and some profiteroles and some ice cream and some cheesecake."
And that's not all. On Monday, "I had two different tarts from Once Upon a Tart [in SoHo] and toast and a banana and a cup of coffee and a bagel with cream cheese," she said. Oh, yeah: "And a glass of fresh orange juice."

Sarah Jessica Parker's 5-Year-Old Son Supports Barack Obama

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be hard at work on the campaign trail, but the senator from Illinois can count on James Wilkie Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's 5-year-old son, for his support in his battle for the White House – if he's running again in 13 years.
"He's very into Barack Obama," Parker told reporters Saturday at a New York press junket for the movie Smart People. "On his own!"
"He's really, truly into this election," she says of her little guy's interests. "He's come to this conclusion on his own based specifically on Barack's gender. It's that deep. He's a fan and a true supporter of Barack Obama."

Sarah Jessica Parker Is 'Thrilled' for Chris Noth

From Mr. Big to Mr. Mom – Chris Noth has a lovely little distraction from the steadily building buzz surrounding the Sex and the City movie.
The actor's longtime girlfriend, Tara Wilson, gave birth to son Orion Christopher Noth on Jan. 18. And his on-screen flame, Sarah Jessica Parker, was quick to join in the chorus of well wishes.
"I'm thrilled for him because I think, first of all, he's going to make a wonderful, wonderful father," she told Entertainment Tonight.
The 42-year-old actress – who's at the Sundance Film Festival to promote her romantic comedy Smart People, costarring Dennis Quaid – added: "He found a lovely lady to have a child with. It's the perfect time for him and I think he's very ready."
