She may be a scream queen, but Sarah Michelle Gellar sees her screen flirtation with the supernatural another way: "This is the field where women can really rule." Just in time for Halloween, the actress, who had a cult following as TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, stars in The Grudge, a remake of a Japanese horror film. Gellar, 27, recently talked about playing with ghosts, filming in Japan and hanging out with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.

With Hurricane Hernan churning 300 miles from the site of their wedding at Mexico's El Careyes resort, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., who played Scooby sleuths Daphne and Fred this summer, had to move their nuptials inside. Then, the next day, natural forces struck again: A 4.6 earthquake rocked the area just as guests were heading home. "Earthquake? Hurricane? Hey, I think it's a great way to start," says talent manager Ron DiBlasio, a longtime friend of the Prinze family's. "All of those bigger-than-life natural events can only bode well for the marriage."

SKEWERED: Don't look for a guest appearance from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (a.k.a. Sarah Michelle Gellar) during the final episode of the WB series "Angel," airing May 19, TV Guide Online reports. Gellar, who initially was slated to appear in the next-to-last episode of "Angel," was unavailable when it came time to shoot the story, series producer Joss Whedon said. And, despite the relationship between Angel, Buffy and the character Spike, the show's creators did not want the appearance of Buffy to overshadow the regular characters on "Angel."
