Celebrity Twitter: Too Much Information!

Originally posted 05/30/2009 11:15AM

Twitter etiquette comes easier to some celebrities than others.

Earlier this week, Al Roker made headlines when he posted pictures on his Twitter page taken with his cellphone while he was doing jury duty at Manhattan Supreme Court. Fail! The Today show weatherman ended up apologizing to court officials for breaking the rules.

And he's not the first star to raise eyebrows over a tweet. Let us recount our favorite examples of celebrity TMI (too much information) on Twitter.

Kinda Cute
Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13): The car just arrived to take us to the airport. Taped to the seat in front of me is a sign: "Taylor, don't forget your retainer. Dad"..Nice.
• Omarosa from The Apprentice (@omarosa): correction: the dog is walking me* I can barely keeps up * i hope he poops soon or I am going to be late

What's the Word ... Uninhibited?
• Lisa Rinna (@lisarinna): now that the hubby is tweeting 24/7 as i am will we need to start having twittersex? is there such a thing?
• Kirstie Alley (@kirstiealley): Although no one has asked I like this new name for a vagina..A POLLY WOG..yes I tried that term out today and got good feed back..YOU?

Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss is temporarily leaving the Sterling Cooper ad agency in N.Y.C. to join Sean "Diddy" Combs in the spin-off to the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

The actress, 26, and Diddy will star alongside Jonah Hill and Russell Brand in the upcoming Judd Apatow film Get Him to the Greek.

In the film, Moss will play Daphne Binks, the girlfriend of Hill's character (Aaron Greenberg), who gets tempted by an out-of-control, self destructive rockstar (Aldous Snow) played by Brand. Combs plays the role of "Sergio," the owner of the record label. The film follows Greenberg who's hired by a record company to accompany Snow from London to a concert at the Greek Theatre.

Diddy is speaking out about opening up his Miami home to Chris Brown and Rihanna several weeks after Brown was accused of assaulting his girlfriend.

INSIDE STORY: Will the Biggie Case Ever Be Solved?

Originally posted 01/23/2009 06:10PM

He was a larger-than-life personality and one of the biggest names in music when he was shot and killed in front of dozens of witnesses early one March morning in Los Angeles.

So why nearly 12 years after the murder of celebrated rapper Christopher Wallace, a.k.a. the Notorious B.I.G., has the most infamous case in hip-hop history remained unsolved?

That question hangs over Notorious, the new film based on Wallace's life story, which sees the Brooklyn rapper rise from Catholic school mama's boy (played by Wallace's real life son Christopher Jordan Wallace), to corner drug-slinger, to one of the best-selling rappers of his generation thanks to the mentorship of producer and businessman Sean "Diddy" Combs.

And it's a question that haunts those who knew and loved him, including his mother Voletta Wallace.

"It hurts that this has been dragging on for so long," says Wallace, who along with Combs was a producer on the film. "There's a little nudge now and then, but then we have to wait and wait and wait. But you have to understand: I have all the time in the world. I'm not going anywhere."

Mr. Bad Boy himself, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, could not keep it together when Barack Obama was announced President-elect Tuesday night.

"I was straight up crying," he confesses. "I was with my kids. It was a beautiful thing. I just thank God my prayers were answered."

A greater gift? It happened on his 39th birthday.

"I don't know why God blessed me by having my birthday [on Nov. 4], but we're here to celebrate 80 percent of Obama being elected and 20 percent my birthday," Diddy told reporters Wednesday night at a celebration sponsored by Ciroc Vodka at Mansion nightclub in New York.

Some of his celebrity guests: Mary J. Blige, Ben Stiller, Cassie, Cedric the Entertainer, and Pete Wentz.

The talk-show host was on hand in Chicago to watch Obama's victory speech, along with Brad Pitt and Jesse Jackson.

Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Courteney Cox and hubby David Arquette hosted a Barack Obama victory party Tuesday night at their Beverly Hills home, E! Online reports. Jennifer Aniston, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher were reportedly among the guests.
