Diddy Does Downton Abbey – His Way

Could Diddy possibly be Lady Mary's latest love interest?

Sadly, no – but for a minute there he really had us going.

When the hip-hop mogul and part-time actor announced to his 8.7 million Twitter followers Wednesday that he would be a series regular on the next season of Downton Abbey – his "favorite show" – it seemed ridiculous.

But then again, producers of the smash-hit PBS series recently announced that they are trying to diversify, and Diddy has done serious roles, including that of the son, Walter Lee Younger, in the 2004 Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun.

So, maybe?

The music world came together Saturday for a private dinner celebrating Rico Love's 30th birthday at the SLS Hotel South Beach. Diddy, Pharrell Williams, Fat Joe, Russell Simmons and Kelly Rowland feasted and drank Grey Goose into the night as they toasted the music mogul on his big 3-0.

Diddy led the birthday toast, commending his friend for "working his way up from Harlem." Rico told the crowd, "I'm blessed."

Diddy, Kanye, Fat Joe Delight Miami Clubgoers with Surprise Concert

Originally posted 11/28/2012 06:00AM

Sunday night saw one of the most monumental hip-hop concerts in recent history, and no one knew it was coming.

As guests arrived to celebrate DJ Khaled's birthday at LIV Miami at the Fontainebleau, they found themselves in the company of hip-hop icons Diddy, Kanye West, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. Also joining the fun: Kourtney Kardashian's longtime love Scott Disick – who was in town filming Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.

While some had heard rumblings of Diddy and company's attendance, no one expected what the night turned into – an impromptu concert!

"It was the craziest thing ever," says a source. "Maybe you've seen one or two of these guys perform, but never singing each other's songs together – it was amazing!"

Kanye, enjoying a boys' night out in a black leather T-shirt, received the most enthusiastic response of all when he hopped on stage with Fat Joe and performed his hit "Jesus Walks." The group wasn't taking the party lightly and ordered around 30 bottles of Ciroc Vodka.

Disick, who may seem the unlikeliest piece of the puzzle, apparently held his own with the rowdy group. "Scott surprisingly fit in really well; he seemed totally natural with the guys … you wouldn't have expected it," says one partygoer.

The Walking Dead Comes to Life in Hollywood

"Abandon all hope ye who enter here," warns the sign greeting guests to the Gates of Hell – as if they even had to say it.

Welcome to Halloween Horror Nights at California's Universal Studios Hollywood, which, like its sister park in Orlando, Fla., decks itself out on select nights this month for that scariest of holidays. Having frightened brave-hearted visitors witless since 2006, Universal's multiple walk-through horror mazes include this year's newest attraction, a ghoul-filled Dead Inside zombie apocalypse inspired by AMC's The Walking Dead (whose third season premieres Oct. 14).

"You need to be emotionally involved in order to be drawn into the horror," Halloween Horror Nights creative director John Murdy, stepping over empty shotgun shells amid the piped-in ersatz scent of rotting corpses, recently told PEOPLE at the entrance to the Walking Dead maze, which features actual scenes and props from the series.

After attending the premiere of his movie Killing Them Softly at the Cannes Film Festival Tuesday, Brad Pitt hosted an intimate party at Villa St. George that evening for close friends and people who were involved with the film.

About 100 people attended the soiree, which was sponsored by Johnny Walker Blue Label. Celebrities like Diddy, Kylie Minogue, Chris Tucker and Ray Liotta partied until the wee hours of the morning.

The party felt almost like a pre-bachelor party for the newly engaged Pitt, with refreshments including cigars and £250 bottles of Johnnie Walker whiskey.

Towards the end of the evening, Pitt's friend Diddy shared a celebratory drink with the actor over his engagement to Angelina Jolie, before inviting the entire party back to his yacht.

With the help of Facebook and Twitter, Jason Russell's documentary has even captured the attention of celebrities including Ryan Gosling, Rihanna, Oprah and Justin Bieber.

The slickly produced 30-minute video follows Russell's efforts since 2006 to raise awareness around the world about Uganda's guerrilla leader Joseph Kony, whose terrifying actions have landed him the top spot of the International Criminal Court's most wanted list. Kony's rebel group has kidnapped thousands of children, turning the boys into child soldiers and the girls into sex slaves.

In a determination to "make Kony a household name," so that Uganda military can find and arrest him, Russell has met with key politicians and his Invisible Children campaign has targeted 20 "culture-makers," including Tim Tebow, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Seacrest and Taylor Swift.

Originally posted 12/14/2011 06:00AM

Nearly a month after they were spotted together at lunch, Cameron Diaz and Diddy are keeping those dating rumors alive after a cozy night out at New York's PH-D Rooftop Lounge atop the Dream Downtown Hotel. The actress started her night at Marble Lane Restaurant with a large group of friends before heading up to the roof after midnight. Diddy joined their table around 1:15, and ordered bottles of booze for the table, where Diaz was dancing with her friends and drinking, too. According to a source, the table was packed and "Cameron and Diddy were very affectionate." Still, a rep says the two, who left the club with their friends around 3:15 a.m., are not an item. "They are friends and are not dating," the actress's rep tells PEOPLE. – Carlos Greer and Julie Jordan
