Why Were Cameron Diaz & Diddy Having Lunch?

Cameron Diaz and Diddy were spotted enjoying lunch together at Scarpetta in Beverly Hills. The two were alone for the first part of the meal, and then were joined later by a male who appeared to be a business associate. For their lunch, the group enjoyed wine, as well as two pasta dishes, steak and chicken. As for the nature of the lunch, well, it was business focused, says Diaz's rep. "Cameron and Sean are longtime friends and fans of one another's work," her rep tells us. "They have been seen together recently because they are developing a film project."

Kanye West, Khloé Kardashian-Odom and Lamar Odom were among the guests at a private dinner party presented by Diddy at The Darby in New York City Sunday. The group was there to toast the Culo by Mazzucco book and art exhibition launch, and enjoyed a special tasting menu before heading to the restaurant's basement lounge, Darby Downstairs, where they sipped Beau Joie champagne and danced into the early hours to tunes spun by DJ Kiss. – Carlos Greer

• Ashley Greene was ready to dance until the world ends! The actress threw her hands in the air after arriving at one of her favorite spots, Trousdale Lounge in L.A. Once she was at her table in the backroom, Greene greeted her friends with hugs. She seemed especially into the Britney Spears tunes, and she jumped up and twirled around to the music with one female friend, refreshing herself with cocktails in between dances. Also in the backroom: a subdued Chris Hemsworth, who was more interested in people-watching than dancing.

Everyone's favorite pint-sized Jersey girl will be jumping out of a ball, Miami has some of the country's hottest crooners, Las Vegas will have a more "cosmopolitan" feel and Los Angeles offers a sneak peak at a zany show – It must be New Year's Eve!
Want to know where to rub elbows with rockstars as they ring in the New Year? We've got you covered. Perhaps the most star-studded event of the weekend takes place in Sin City with Jay-Z and Coldplay ringing in 2011 with a joint concert at the official grand opening of The Cosmopolitan, a $3.9 billion Las Vegas Strip hotel. But the question remains, will Beyoncé and Gwyneth Paltrow join their husbands for a New Year's kiss at the Marquee grand opening, which is where the post-show party is.
And what would New Year's Eve be without "New Year's Rockin' Eve" in The Big Apple? Ryan Seacrest hosts the annual party in Times Square that features performances by Ke$ha and Taio Cruz. Jenny McCarthy will also be on hand looking for someone to smooch. Over at MTV's New Year's Bash, Flo Rida is set to perform twice and Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will be placed inside a ball that will drop in Seaside Heights, N.J., as the clock ticks down to midnight.

"It would be a group, and it would be a really fun group," the singer, 21, says on the Jan. 3 episode of the Rachael Ray show. "Because all these different reasons. Well, Katy Perry would be so much fun. She’s just like crazy fun and like spontaneous."

Their own film collaboration on Gigli didn't go so well, but Jennifer Lopez is open to the idea of catching a film starring ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck.
"Would I see a movie of Ben's? Sure! Why not?" the actress and pop star, 40, tells the U.K. edition of Marie Claire. "I haven't seen him or talked to him in a while – our lives went in two very different directions. But I always wish him the best and I always thought he was a great person."
Lopez says she's also cordial with another high-profile ex – Diddy. "I've run into him once or twice, with Marc, and it's always very friendly," she says. "He asks about the twins because he has twins, too."

For Diddy at 40, It's All About His Twin Daughters

Though he's dealing with that fact he's just turned 40, proud papa Diddy has an even bigger issue on his plate: keeping up with his twin girls (with ex Kim Porter), D'Lila Star and Jessie James, who turn 3 on Dec. 21.
"They're talking a lot more and they're very demanding," says the Grammy-winning hip-hop star and entrepreneur. As for what they demand from their dad: "Just time," he says. " 'Sit down. Don't go anywhere, stay here, do this.' They give me a lot of orders."
And despite his demanding schedule – in addition to managing his business empire, Diddy is working on a new album, Last Train to Paris, and continuing to promote Ciroc vodka – he says his girls can always persuade him to take a break.

"I'm what you call a mixologist," Diddy tells PEOPLE with a smile. "I haven't really gotten certified, but I've been doing it for years. I started with Kool-Aid and I graduated to alcohol."
As the celebrity endorser for Cîroc vodka, the Grammy winner and entrepreneur recommends using a light hand while pouring your cocktail, "so it's smooth and not too strong," he says. That way, "You can have a couple."
