Sean Young's Oscar night ended at the police station after she allegedly slapped a security guard outside the Governors Ball – and now the actress wants someone to answer for her ordeal.
"I was just standing by the little line [outside the Governors Ball]," Young told PEOPLE Monday morning. "I wasn't bothering anybody."
According to TMZ, which first broke the story, Young was placed under citizens' arrest by another member of the security team before being taken to the police station and booked for battery after the alleged altercation. Police later confirmed her arrest to PEOPLE.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Blade Runner actress Sean Young reportedly clashed with a security guard at the Governors Ball following Sunday night's Oscar ceremony and found herself ejected from the event.
After allegedly arguing with the guard over taking photos at the entrance to the ball – and not having a ticket for admittance – the actress, 52, was placed under citizens' arrest by another member of the security force and then removed by police and booked for battery, reports TMZ.
TMZ says Young slapped a guard who may have placed a hand on her.

Director Julian Schnabel, whose speech at the DGA Awards Saturday night was interrupted by actress Sean Young (who later announced she's seeking treatment) says it's all water under the bridge.
"It was fine. It was really fine," the Diving Bell and the Butterfly director tells USA Today.
To recap: Young was escorted out of the ceremony after yelling out for Schnabel to "get on with it" during his acceptance speech. He then exchanged words with the offstage heckler.
"I'm sorry she got taken out of there," Schnabel adds. "If I had a couple of minutes with her, I could have brought her up on stage and we could have worked it out."

On Monday her publicist issued a statement that the actress, 48, voluntarily entered a program to treat alcohol abuse.

Actress Sean Young entered rehab for treatment related to alcoholism Monday, PEOPLE has learned.
Young, 48, voluntarily admitted herself, according to a statement released by her rep, which read: "It is understood that Young has struggled against the disease for many years."
On Saturday, Young caused a scene at the Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles when she heckled The Diving Bell and the Butterfly director Julian Schnabel during his acceptance speech. She was promptly removed from the venue, according to a Variety report.
