Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane: Are They Dating?
Originally posted 04/09/2013 07:30PM
There's no doubt that Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane are friendly – but more than friends? Not so much – yet.
They've had the web buzzing with dating reports, following a dinner Monday night at Beverly Hills sushi restaurant Matsuhisa, a little more than a month after they chatted at length at MacFarlane's post-Oscar bash in February.
But a source insists that while Theron, 37, and MacFarlane, 39, certainly get along, the basis of their relationship is work-related, as the two both star in A Million Ways to Die in the West, which the Family Guy creator also wrote and will direct.

Seth MacFarlane's TV Guide Critic Reacts to Oscar Mention
Originally posted 02/26/2013 11:30AM
So, how does it feel to have your name dropped before a billion people?
Surprising, says TV Guide business editor Stephen Battaglio, who was part of the lively opening exchange between Oscar host Seth MacFarlane and intruder from the future William Shatner.
In a spoof (and a screen grab), the Star Trek captain showed the Family Guy guy what would be his upcoming review from Battaglio.
"I didn't know it was coming," Battaglio writes on TV Guide's website. "I was watching the show at home with my wife. Staring at the byline, it took a few seconds to absorb."
And once it did, he says, "every electronic device in our apartment was ringing, buzzing, pinging or vibrating."

Seth MacFarlane: Why He Didn't Work as Oscar Host
Originally posted 02/25/2013 10:30AM
Hosting the Oscars, they say, is a thankless job. So, Seth MacFarlane, thanks for nothing.
This isn't to say he can be blamed for a long evening that seemed to be devoted more to singing than handing out awards.
On the other hand, he doesn't get credit for the show's best moments, either: Adele's powerful performance of "Skyfall," Daniel Day-Lewis's charmingly stiff humor in his acceptance speech for Lincoln – it was so like Abe! – or Michelle Obama's surprising and generous gesture: appearing via satellite to announce the Best Picture winner.
