It's apparently difficult for powerful women in Hollywood to find husbands, so it looks like they're taking matters into their own hands.
At least, that was the case on Wednesday's Chelsea Lately, when Sarah Silverman got down on one knee before host Chelsea Handler.

When Game of Thrones returns for its fourth season Sunday night, fans will get to enjoy the latest adventures in the reign of King Joffrey Baratheon, a blond tyrant who rules Westeros with an ironfisted combination of petulance and sadism. To celebrate Joffrey's impending nuptials, we've given him a wedding gift: a list of the horrible TV children just as bad as himself. Maybe they can have a playdate – just leave the crossbows at home.

When Seth MacFarlane and Bill Maher drop by your show to sing to you, you know you're not going to get a sentimental rendition of "The Best Is Yet to Come."
The pair said their goodbyes to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Wednesday in swinging fashion, serenading the departing host with a song that thanked Leno for "the memories you gave," but mostly for "your rivalry with Dave [Letterman]" and "the beating that you gave."
The pair aren't referring to some previously hidden parking-lot dust-up between the two iconic late-night hosts, but rather, as Maher sings, the fact that "you crushed him in the ratings, and you'll take that to your grave!"

Family Guy may soon have a Christmas miracle on its hands. According to Entertainment Weekly, talking dog Brian will return to the animated comedy, just weeks after the show killed him off.
Almost immediately after Brian's death in a car accident at the age of 11, fans began speculating that the show would bring him back. A talking dog with literary ambitions and a love of martinis, Brian seemed to be too good a character to disappear for good, and more than 128,000 Family Guy fans signed a petition advocating his return.

Hold on to your martinis, bereaved Family Guy fans. Love for Brian had fans hoping it was a ratings stunt, and now a new website has them wondering: Is Brian really dead?
A site "affiliated" with FOX and Seth MacFarlane's popular crass cartoon sitcom has cropped up – www.briansannouncement.com – and promises "a special announcement from Brian" with a countdown clock that shows the big reveal will happen on Dec. 6 at noon ET.
The sparse home page also features a blue sedan driving into the Griffin's mythical hometown of Quahog, Rhode Island, where the sign entices visitors to "come taste our clam."

Brian, the Griffin family's anthropomorphic, acerbic, and possibly-alcoholic dog, was killed on Sunday's Family Guy episode, "Life of Brian."
Fan fallout has been swift, but we'd like to stay above the fray and instead remember Brian as he was: Witty, occasionally soused, and a devoted Prius driver.

Brian, the Griffin family's cerebral canine on the animated Fox series Family Guy, died on Sunday night's episode. He was 11.
Cause of death was his being run over by a car.
"You've given me a wonderful life. I love you all," were Brian's final words, spoken to the Griffins in voice of series creator Seth McFarlane.
Brian is survived by his family, Peter, Lois, Meg and Chris, as well as best friend and sometimes sparring partner Stewie, the baby genius who was unable to fix his broken time machine in time to save his pooch.
