On-set romances are commonplace in Hollywood. But the latest big costar infatuation is less The Notebook and more Beauty and the Beast.
Seth Rogen shares the screen with the stunning Rose Byrne in the upcoming comedy Townies. But surprisingly, he has his eye on another actor entirely.
"Zac Efron is incredibly handsome," Rogen, 31, told reporters recently at the second annual Hilarity For Charity House Party in Los Angeles. "He's the sexiest [expletive] on the planet!"

An Oscar would be nice and all, but Seth Rogen says he's already "won the one award" he's longed to earn.
"I've won it twice, and that is High Times magazine's Stoner of the Year," Rogen, 29, says. "I actually lost to James Franco eventually."
The funnyman, who goes on to say he'd "rather host the Oscars than win an Oscar," gets his first big hosting gig at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, airing on IFC at 10 p.m.

It's been a banner year for Seth Rogen.
Just a few months after saying "I do" to longtime girlfriend Lauren Miller, the funnyman's latest film 50/50 got nominated for a Golden Globe on Thursday – a first for the actor, who says he's "never been in a movie" where he thought he'd be nominated for a major award.
But don't add parenthood to the list of upcoming milestones for the newlywed, 29, and his wife.
Responding with a firm "no" when asked if kids were in the cards, Rogen added with a laugh, "We have a dog. That's good for now."

His movie came out Friday, but that is far from the most exciting thing Seth Rogen had going on this weekend.
The 50/50 star tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, writer Lauren Miller, in Sonoma County, Calif., on Sunday, PEOPLE has learned.
The wedding took place in front of family and friends overlooking a vineyard. Guests included Rogen's frequent costars Jonah Hill Adam Sandler, Paul Rudd, among others.
Rogen, 29, and Miller, 30, have been a couple since meeting in 2004, when he was a staff writer on The Ali G Show. They have been engaged since September of last year.

Little did Seth Rogen know that the engagement ring he bought for Lauren Miller would end up working best as a nipple ring.
Rogen, 28, had grand plans for the proposal but claims he had to improvise when he raced into the room to pop the question only to realize his actress girlfriend was topless.
"She was in our closet, changing, and she was literally only in her underpants," Rogen told Conan O'Brien on his brand new TBS talk show Monday. "I had already kind of started [to propose]. … I didn't picture it like this, and I know she didn't picture it like this."

After all the buildup, Conan O'Brien's return to television on TBS Monday night was a modest, lowkey and slightly awkward affair – Seth Rogen, the first celebrity guest on what is now called Conan, was promoting The Green Hornet, a movie that doesn't even open until January. Both he and O'Brien seemed aware that they had committed an unstated, inexplicable breach of talk-show protocol. It was as if Rogen had been expected to bring coffee cake and instead showed up with a plate of uncooked ribs.
But O'Brien is still dealing with the fallout of the past year's talk-show battle with NBC and his former home, The Tonight Show. Moving to TBS at 11 p.m. ET, he's a bit like one of those Shakespearean princes who get bounced from their kingdom and have to reestablish their court on an island or in a forest or on a cul de sac. His charm, intelligence and humor will probably win out. Here are three encouraging signs that Conanian silliness will live on:

Seth Rogen is off the market!
The actor and his girlfriend Lauren Miller are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
"Seth is so excited," the source says. "Lauren is such a sweet girl. She makes him really happy."
Rogen, 28, has starred in a series of hit comedies, including The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad and Pineapple Express.
Miller, also 28, who lives with Rogen in his Los Angeles home, has had small roles in a few of his films, including Superbad and Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

Seth Rogen may be a comedy superstar today, but he's always been a comic book geek at heart.
"I go to the comic book store almost every single week," Rogen, 28, said while promoting his upcoming superhero action-comedy The Green Hornet at San Diego's Comic-Con International. "I have thousands of comic books. I read very few books without pictures of men in tights in them."
Rogen's been amazed by the ever-increasing hipness factor of comics and graphic novels, remembering the days not so long ago when reading them wasn't considered cool.

He's played stoners, mall cops, monsters, and now Seth Rogen can add superhero to his credits.
In The Green Hornet, based on the '30s radio series turned '60s television show of the same name, Rogen plays Britt Reid, newspaperman by day, masked crime-fighter by night.
Rogen and costar Jay Chou (pictured) are currently shooting the movie – due for release early next year – in Los Angeles.
