Newlyweds Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed, who dated for 28 years before tying the knot in October, aren't as interested in romance as they are in sex.
The key to keeping their marriage active is to "put out," the KISS rocker, 62, told Hollyscoop on Thursday. "Romance is interesting, but somebody much more prolific than I am put it better – she should be a Madonna in the kitchen and a wh–– in the bedroom."
Tweed, 54, took no issue with her husband's comments and even joked that she liked him insinuating she's a "wh––."

What, you were thinking the chicken dance?
When Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed finally got married after 28 years together, only one band could properly – and loudly – mark the occasion.
The groom strapped on his bass (but not his kabuki makeup) and joined his KISS band-mates to entertain the crowd of 400 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
"Our party rocked a long time," says Tweed-Simmons. "Everyone got up a sang."
The wedding is featured on Tuesday night's episode of A&E's Gene Simmons Family Jewels – Mia McNiece

Talk about a wedding fit for a rock star!
"It was a giant jam session," Shannon Tweed-Simmons tells PEOPLE about her Oct. 1 wedding to KISS bassist Gene Simmons.
The couple, who have been together for 28 years, celebrated with 400 guests. Among them were daughter Sophie, 19, who served as maid of honor and even crooned the song for the first dance, Etta James's "At Last," and son Nick, 22, a groomsmen who also took the stage to perform.
Even the family dog, Snippy, joined in the celebration – serving as the ring bearer.

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed have made it official.
After 28 years together, the KISS bassist, 62, married his longtime girlfriend in an outdoor evening ceremony on the crystal lawn of the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, their rep confirms to PEOPLE. Guests cheered when Simmons said "I do" to his partner.
Tweed, 54, walked down the aisle in an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown – one of three dresses she chose for the big occasion – and carried a bouquet of ivory garden roses.
