Having to recreate an iconic dance from past seasons of Dancing with the Stars proved difficult – but fun – for the All-Stars on Monday.
With creative direction left to the nonprofessionals, the third week of competition had many highs and a few lows for the contestants.
Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya kicked off the evening with a cha-cha to Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love." Determined to deliver a sexy rendition, the duo succeeded with a score of 24 and judge Bruno Tonioli compared the performance to Magic Mike. "If it's going to work for Channing Tatum, it's going to work for you!" he said.

Shawn Johnson is seeing positive results in the ballroom this season on the 15th season of Dancing with the Stars All-Stars, but the numbers she sees on the scale after the show's grueling workouts aren't quite as impressive – yet.
"[Other contestants] are like, 'I've lost 10 pounds,' and I'm like, 'Cool, good for you,' " the former Olympic gymnast, 20, told PEOPLE with a laugh backstage after Monday night's show. "I think over time, my body will change. It's just different."
Continues the star, "Especially coming from Olympic training, I'm used to seven hours a day of the hardest workouts, so it takes more. It's not like the others who are like, 'Oh, I lost 13 pounds in two days.' "

With 12 celebrity contestants and their professional partners still remaining on the 15th season of Dancing with the Stars All-Stars, Monday night made jive come alive – with decidedly mixed results.
Emmy-winning emcee Tom Bergeron and co-host Brooke Burke Charvet kept the suspense building until the judges rendered their scores – including the season's first 9 – while the audience audibly jeered those times that lower numbers were delivered.

When Shawn Johnson announced her retirement from gymnastics over the summer, it was bittersweet for the gold medalist – and all of her fans who were hoping to cheer her on at the 2012 Olympic Games.
But the 20-year-old reclaimed some of that glory Monday night as she returned to the ballroom for the all-stars season of Dancing with the Stars.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba easily summarized the former champ's 22-point foxtrot to Owl City's "Good Time" with pro Derek Hough: "This is what all-star season is all about!"

The all-star season of Dancing with the Stars doesn't start until Sept. 24, but contestant Drew Lachey is wasting no time in sizing up the competition.
"Everyone on the show is very competitive," he tells PEOPLE. "Everyone's laughing and like, 'Oh, haha, this is going to be fun,' but I guarantee once the show starts up, you're going to see everybody's true colors come out."
One of the people the 98 Degrees band mate, 36, sees as a direct rival – on the dance floor, that is – is former 'NSYNC singer Joey Fatone, 35.

If you're like me, you've been watching the Summer Olympics as much as you can.
The incredible athletic performances are made even more impressive to watch by the incredible physiques the athletes possess.
I'll never forget watching the 1988 summer games in Seoul, Korea, when sprinter Ben Johnson shattered the 100-meter sprint record (only to test positive for steroids later that day).
While I can't remember his exact time, I do remember how ridiculously chiseled he was. So much so, it inspired me to start working out.
