Sherri Shepherd learned a month ago that she would be held legally responsible for the child she had via surrogate with her ex-husband Lamar Sally. And on Thursday's episode of The View, she didn't hide her displeasure with the decision.
After Shepherd glowingly discussed her 10-year-old biological son Jeffrey, co-host Raven-Symoné said to the panel, "I want a baby so bad. I've wanted one since I was 15."
Shepherd barely took a breath's pause before replying, "Girl, I got one or two you could have of mine."

Former View co-host Sherri Shepherd is now facing a legal bill to pay alimony and child support after a Pennsylvania judge handed down the ruling on Tuesday that she's the legal mother of a now 8-month-old baby with ex-husband Lamar Sally.
"Now that Sherri's name is on the birth certificate, it is possible she may have to reimburse the state of California for the health insurance and WIC benefits, to cover the cost of formula," Sally's lawyer Tiffany Palmer tells PEOPLE. In addition her firm will be seeking "tens of thousands of dollars" from Shepherd in legal fees.
"The ultimate outcome is that this baby has two legal parents, and the parents are Lamar Sally and Sherri Shepherd," adds Palmer.
"She has to be responsible for this child that she conceived and created."

It's just acting!
Sherri Shepherd says at least one person found her portrayal of the evil stepmother in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella on Broadway a little too believable: her 9-year-old son Jeffrey.
"Jeffrey was scared of me," the former View co-host, 47, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the #NYTough Comedy Showcase at Caroline's on Broadway. "He didn't like me playing the evil stepmom. He'd rather I were playing Cinderella."
