Dancing with the Stars is back on its toes!
A new round of ballroom competition began Monday night on ABC – and if the season premiere is any indication, it's going to be a hot one. "Without a doubt, this is the best first show of any season," head judge Len Goodman said after the night's final performance.

The season 14 cast members of Dancing with the Stars are set to hit the parquet in fewer than two weeks. But the new crop of contestants have already suited up in their sparkling best to pose for official portraits.
Sherri Shepherd, who will dance with Val Chmerkovskiy, calls her stint on the ballroom dance competition a "dream come true."
She'll face off against soap star-turned-singer Jack Wagner, who will partner with Anna Trebunskaya. Tennis icon Martina Navratilova will also hit the floor with Tony Dovolani. And Family Matters star Jaleel White will compete alongside former champ Kym Johnson.

Spring is just around the corner – and so is season 14 of Dancing with the Stars! Twelve new cast members, including Sherri Shepherd, and their professional dance partners were announced on Good Morning America Tuesday.
"It's a dream come true," The View co-host told PEOPLE about training with returning pro Val Chmerkovskiy. "He is one of the best frickin' dancers in the world. He's hot!"

Kirstie Alley has all the confidence in the world in Demi Moore as her friend copes with a health crisis.
"Demi is a smart, insightful girl and she will work through it," Alley said Friday. "I have no doubts. I love Demi. She'll work it out."
Alley turned out in New York for her former Dancing with the Stars partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Dance With Me Studios' Ballroom Birthday Bash.
Sherri Shepherd Blasts Barbara Walters over N-Word Use on The View

Tempers flared on Monday's episode of The View as Sherri Shepherd chastised Barbara Walters for using the N-word in a newsy context.
Whoopi Goldberg used the word first on Monday's broadcast while quoting presidential candidate Herman Cain. Walters repeated it in context of their conversation, though she told her co-hosts, "It's very hard for me to say. ? The fact that I just said it now gives me chills."
The co-hosts were discussing the name of a hunting camp used by Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry. But when Walters said the word, she drew a sharp rebuke from Shepherd.

The View returned to ABC Tuesday to launch its 15th season on the air – but the ladies had even bigger milestones to discuss.
While on their summer hiatus, Sherri Shepherd tied the knot with Lamar Sally on Aug. 13 in Chicago, and her co-host Joy Behar said I do with her longtime partner Steve Janowitz the day before.
"I'm going to make this marriage work if it kills me," Shepherd, who wore her wedding dress and sky-high, sparkling wedding shoes, said at the top of the hour on Tuesday.
Shepherd, whose wedding was filmed for a Style Network special scheduled to air Sept. 13, told the audience about a close call during the celebration. "One of my bridesmaids, I think it was Niecy Nash, said, 'Don't wear any underwear," Shepherd said. "They knew me and Sal had been celibate for 11 months, so [she wanted me to do] anything [I could] do to get him turned back on."

Joy Behar isn't the only newlywed on The View.
Co-host Sherri Shepherd and fiancé Lamar Sally tied the knot at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, her hometown, on Saturday, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Shepherd's eight bridesmaids included The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Niecy Nash and Community's Yvette Nicole Brown, and her 6-year-old son Jeffrey walked her down the aisle.

"I've got a really great friend," Shepherd, while she was at Monday's Steve Harvey Foundation Gala, told PEOPLE about husband-to-be Lamar Sally.
"He keeps me laughing all the time," she says. "I think laughter is No. 1. He's silly and I'm silly, I think that's a great match."

On Thursday's 30 Rock, the NBC comedy took a break from its usual antics for a reality TV-skewering episode that mimicked the Bravo franchise with table-flipping accuracy.
Framed as an episode of a reality show, Queen of Jordan, starring Angie Jordan, wife of Tracy Morgan's character, there was plenty of wine drinking (and tossing), electronic cigarette-smoking psychics, weepy personal histories and even a hastily recorded single.
