Jude Law Denies Rekindling Romance with Sienna Miller
Originally posted 10/30/2009 12:00PM
While Jude Law and Sienna Miller are both playing to packed houses on Broadway, they are reportedly not reprising their old roles as boyfriend and girlfriend.
"Jude and Sienna are just friends and are seeing each other socially occasionally as they are both on Broadway, performing just one block apart," a rep for Law tells Glamour.com.
Law, 36, and Miller, 27, broke up in 2006 after dating on and off for several years. At one point they were engaged to be married, but those plans were derailed when Law's affair with his children's nanny came to light.

Critics Greet Sienna Miller's Broadway Debut
Originally posted 10/23/2009 08:00AM
Sienna Miller received a guarded welcome to Broadway Thursday night, as critics measured her performance in the drama After Miss Julie, an update – to 1945 – of August Strindberg's 1888 play about sex and class.
"In a theater season that has felt like a boys' club of male movie idols from abroad (Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman in A Steady Rain, Jude Law in Hamlet), wouldn't it be gratifying if one fearless woman – with fewer stage credentials than the guys but almost as much tabloid exposure – walked away with the laurels?" writes Ben Brantley of The New York Times.
Adding to the anticipation of what he thought about her acting, he opines: "She has always struck me as a game, gutsy kind of gal, as intrepid in choosing film roles (Factory Girl, Interview) as in courting (and wrestling with) the fame that now accompanies her like an unwanted bodyguard."
But, ultimately, Brantley's praise is limited to Miller's "good diction, good posture and great legs. Commendable as these attributes are, they are of limited use in portraying a tautly wound, death-courting neurotic who is eaten alive by her own demons."

Sienna Miller Looks for Box Office Cred
Originally posted 07/25/2009 01:45PM
Sienna Miller hasn't been short of publicity thanks to a high-profile romance with Balthazar Getty and her trend-setting style. But this summer she hopes fans will get to know her for another reason – G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
"It's really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!" the actress tells Nylon magazine in its August issue. "If you want to make amazing, artistic films, you've got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don't have."
Yet, Miller remains a favorite among paparazzi. While filming the 1960s period piece Hippie Hippie Shake, a film out later this year, the actress had to strip down for a skinny-dipping scene and a photographer snapped a shot of her nude.

Sienna Miller's High Anxiety – over Broadway
Originally posted 04/08/2009 10:25AM
She's not due to arrive on Broadway until October, but Sienna Miller is already anxious.
"I'm scared, obviously, but really excited," Miller, 27, tells Reuters about her upcoming American stage debut in playwright Patrick Marber's adaptation of August Strindberg's 1888 After Miss Julie, which she performed in London in 2003. The drama deals with class and sex, and is set in Britain right after WWII.
"If you want to be an actress, you think about opening on Broadway," said Miller, as well known for her adventures off-screen as on. This Friday she opens in the film version of The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, based on the Michael Chabon novel.

Sienna Miller is ready for Broadway – and will make her debut this fall, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The actress, 27, is set to play Miss Julie, one of only three roles in After Miss Julie, which will be staged beginning in September at the Roundabout Theatre's American Airlines Theatre on New York's famed 42nd Street.
It will be something of a homecoming for Miller, who was born in the city and, though she grew up in England, returned to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Manhattan.

Sienna Miller Shows Raw Emotion in New Music Video

The Hours - See The Light
Sienna Miller is trapped in a Prada store – in a hospital gown. But don't worry, her fashion meltdown is just an act for a new music video.
In the seven-minute video for the British band The Hours' song "See The Light," the 26-year-old actress escapes the designer shop before proclaiming in therapy, "Death feels like the safest place for me right now."
Raw and emotional, she runs barefoot through the streets, is confronted by disemboweled cows, trashes a hospital room and finally, in the unremitting grip of the breakdown, crawls along a country road.
"It's a song about struggle and addiction and fear and darkness … and these guys have brought it to life; the song and the film work perfectly together, it's band on," The Hours lead singer Ant Genn said in a statement.

If the pictures (and locale) look familiar, well, they should: The two vacationed there together in July, when reports and photos of their relationship first surfaced.
Miller has subsequently won $26,000 in damages from the U.K.'s Daily Star newspaper after it published pictures of the pair, which Miller claimed violated her privacy.

Miller is also suing a photo agency for taking topless shots of her cavorting with married actor Balthazar Getty off Italy's Amalfi coast earlier this year.
