Harry Potter turns 35 this week and who better to wish him happy birthday than his best friend, Ron Weasley?
Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation star Simon Pegg, 45, made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday decked out in askew Gryffindor attire and parading as a "drunk Ron Weasley."
"Hey! They say it's your birthday," Pegg slurred in the clip while clutching a bottle of Jack Daniels and dangerously waving a wand. "It's my birthday too!"

The British actor Simon Pegg is godfather to Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's 9-year-old daughter Apple. In turn, Martin is godfather to Pegg's 4-year-old daughter Matilda.
It's been a joy, Pegg tells PEOPLE, but sometimes difficult to reciprocate certain gestures.
"[Chris] sang a song for [Matilda] in Berlin when she was born," Pegg said, with still-apparent awe, last week at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, The World's End. "He dedicated one of the songs, and I was really chuffed about it."

A brand-new cast is beaming into the iconic roles of the crew of the starship Enterprise as the revamped Star Trek lands in theaters May 8. PEOPLE has your guide to the Starfleet's finest and their first forays into the enduring sci-fi phenomenon:
NAME: Chris Pine
CHARACTER: Capt. James T. Kirk
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: 2004's The Princess Diaries 2; 2006's Smokin' Aces
NEXT UP: The indie drama Small Town Saturday Night.
"As an actor you search for great roles," says Pine, 28. "This one just happened to be named James Kirk." While figuring out ways to make the part his own, he also watched William Shatner in the original series looking for "things that I felt that I could use without hitting people over the head with a bad impersonation," Pine says. "He's got a very theatrical quality that just made me smile every time." He admits donning Kirk's familiar gold uniform "was a fun day ... [but] as for the part being mine, I think people will always and forever connect Mr. Shatner to that role."
