Her wedding may have been "too glorious for words" but Sinead O'Connor's honeymoon will simply have to wait.

"We don't really have time for that because we're both working a lot," the singer, who tied the knot with Barry Herridge in Las Vegas last Thursday, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the Giorgio Armani and Cinema Society screening of Albert Nobbs in New York.

On the agenda instead? "Lots of snuggling," said the singer, who performed an original song, "Lay Your Head Down," from the film, which stars Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Glenn Close as a woman posing as a man to keep her job as a butler in 19th century Ireland.

Nothing compares to ... who?

Look closely – that's none other than Irish singer Sinead O'Connor, performing as a backup singer at a summer music festival in Bray, Ireland, over the weekend.

O'Connor, 44, appeared onstage at the Bray Seaside Festival, where she was photographed supporting reggae artist Natty Wailer.

The singer wore a partially sheer black top, black blazer, black pants and a cross around her neck. She donned glasses and a short, choppy hairstyle – quite a departure from the signature shaved head she sported at the height of her popularity in the '90s.
