When Lorde won two awards (song of the year and best pop solo performance) at the 2014 Grammys, she didn't just become the third-youngest winner in the ceremony's history. Barely a year into her career, the 17-year-old Kiwi also surpassed dozens of industry legends in the great list of Grammy winners in the sky.
Whether they've only won one Grammy, or are still waiting for their first golden gramophone entirely, here are some of the musical superstars who have taken home fewer Grammys than Lorde. (A note: We're only counting competition Grammys. Lifetime achievement awards don't count, nor do inductions into the Grammy Hall of Fame.)

A few weeks ago – too early for it to be called a Christmas miracle – rapper Snoop Dogg and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry hung out at the White House.
The meet-up took place during a soiree thrown by the Obama administration to honor the 2013 Kennedy Center honorees. Snoop Dogg had performed a tribute that evening for jazz legend Herbie Hancock.

Guess the "O" in "O.G." stands for Oscar.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lawrence both attended the Hollywood Reporter's Nominees' Night 2013 at Spago in Beverly Hills on Monday.
It was a low-key affair at first, with Affleck holding court in a central area of the soiree, where he was animated while chatting with people and seemed excited and genuinely happy.
The Argo star and director, looking handsome in a suit, also obliged guests who approached him for photos.
Lawrence was spotted embracing her Silver Linings Playbook costar Julia Stiles. "You're so stunning!" Stiles told Lawrence just before taking a snapshot together.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Snoop Lion.
Yes, the artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg has renamed himself after he says he underwent a spiritual and artistic rebirth in Jamaica.
While recording his album Reincarnated in the Caribbean country, he developed a traditional reggae style. The result is a three-part project: a reggae album, documentary and coffee-table photo book, all under the name of Snoop Lion.
"I have always said I was Bob Marley reincarnated," Snoop, 40, told reporters at a news conference, according to The New York Times. "I have always been a Rastafari." (Marley's son, Rohan, gave his blessing at the news conference, which was held at Miss Lily's, a Caribbean eatery in New York.)

Charlie Sheen is doing it Doggy-style. Snoop Dogg, that is.
After releasing a song this winter for Prince William to enjoy at his bachelor party, the ever-topical rapper, 39, has now collaborated with another man-of-the-moment on a new single for the actor's upcoming tour, reports Billboard.
As yet, there are no details about the song, such as a title, lyrics or release date. But Sheen, 45, launches his tour this Saturday in Detroit, so presumably the track will be released soon.

Nathaniel D. Hale, a hip-hop artist known by the stage name Nate Dogg, died on Tuesday, his family said.
The cause of death was not yet known, but Hale, 41, had suffered strokes in 2007 and 2008, according to the Long Beach Press-Telegram.
Hale, who most notably sang the hook on Warren G.'s "Regulate" and Snoop Dogg's "Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None)," was part of an extended family of rappers known as the Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips (DPGC), a group that also includes Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger – both of whom responded to news of Hale's death with tribute messages on Twitter.
