Stanley Tucci's new cookbook is all about family. The tome, appropriately titled The Tucci Cookbook, features recipes created and curated by his parents, Stan and Joan, passed down through generations and served at family meals.
"I wanted to have all of these recipes down on paper," Tucci told PEOPLE recently at a Gilt City event in New York. "They were so influential in my life and one of the reasons I am who I am."

Stanley Tucci is engaged to Emily Blunt's sister Felicity, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
The actor's ties to the Blunt family go back a few years. In 2006, he costarred alongside Emily in The Devil Wears Prada and played Nigel, a sharp-tongued but supportive art director.
A widower since his wife Kate died in 2009 from breast cancer, Tucci is father to their three young children.
Next March, Tucci, 50, will be seen in the movie adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel The Hunger Games.

That loud buzzing sound you're hearing is the Oscar talk around Jamie Foxx's performance as singer Ray Charles in the biopic Ray (opening Oct. 29). We wanted to know what Foxx found most challenging about playing the blind 12-time Grammy winner. "Actually capturing the nuance of Ray, not the impersonation, but the way he talks, the way he's quiet. I would say this: How we act on Sunday [evening] at 6:30 when there's really nothing to do, that's how you capture a person's soul, it's those moments," Foxx told us at the movie's L.A. premiere. "Obviously the preparation and losing the weight and doing the impersonation is one thing, but the nuances are what really make the spirit come to life."
