Star Jones's ex, Al Reynolds, wants to set the record straight – really straight.

"I am not a homosexual," he says on a new YouTube video posted Tuesday.

Reynolds also claimed that he still carries a torch for the former View host, who filed for divorce earlier this year. But, in a series of three videos, he admits the two are not on speaking terms.

"It saddens me," he says. "Our relationship is a little tender and hopefully over time we can heal a lot of that, and we can become friends again."

Al Reynolds is opening up – a little – about his split from Star Jones, saying he's saddened by the breakup.

"I know in my heart that I entered my marriage with love and the best of intentions and leave it with great sadness that it didn't work," writes Reynolds in a MySpace post Tuesday.

Jones, 46, filed for divorce from Reynolds, 37, last month. She didn't give a reason for the split, but Jones said she made "an error in judgment" by inviting the media into their lavish 2004 wedding.

In his MySpace post, Reynolds also declined to discuss the reasons for the divorce, but made it clear that he was hurt by the media coverage.

Star Jones's post-View television effort, The Star Jones Show, is going off the air by "mutual agreement" between her and TruTV, the network announced Thursday.

The live, 3 p.m. talk show, airing since September on the former Court TV, had been aimed at bridging the worlds of law and entertainment. Jones is a former Brooklyn prosecutor who got her start on TV as a commentator during the O.J. Simpson trial.

"Due to the rebranding and programming refocus of the network, TruTV and Star Jones Reynolds have mutually agreed to cease production of The Star Jones Show," the network said. "Star will continue as a contributing legal expert on our weekday IN SESSION trial coverage. We appreciate the work she has contributed over the last few months and look forward to the next phase of our relationship."
