Oprah Winfrey visited Africa's Serengeti over the weekend and she's sharing all the details.

Posting stunning photos of her brush with wildlife to her Instagram account, the former talk show host kicked off her trip on July 26 with a "#zebrawelcome," during which she shared a shot of her and longtime love Stedman Graham standing in the African plains with a group of the black-and-white-striped animals running past in the background.

• After taping the last-ever episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago, the talk show host celebrated with a private dinner in Spiaggia's private event space. Among the elite group of 18: BFF Gayle King, her boyfriend Stedman Graham and Maria Shriver, who sat in the studio audience. The group began their meal with champagne and a personal greeting from Chef Tony Mantuano. They continued on with a four-course menu, featuring gnocchi with black truffles, and wine pairings.

Fans of Oprah Winfrey's talk show might have thought her live 50th-birthday show Jan. 29 was one rockin' party. Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder and John Travolta turned up as surprise guests, Jay Leno wheeled out a 400-lb. banana cake, and the show won its best ratings since 1996. But that was only a warm-up. Two nights later at a private estate in Montecito, Calif., Winfrey was back on the dance floor, bopping with girlfriends to "We Are Family" and getting her groove on with pals from Tom Hanks to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston to California First Couple Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger. "It was a get-down, funky, dance-floor jammin' celebration," says Ellen Rakieten, executive producer of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Surveying the scene, the ecstatic birthday girl declared to the crowd, "Have you ev-ah, ev-ah seen anything like this?"
