Teen Choice Awards: Top 5 Moments

It was a night all about choice! The 2012 Teen Choice awards saw surfboards given to fan-chosen actors, actresses and singers. And, of course, they had some choice words and moments of their own Sunday night at Los Angeles's Gibson Amphitheatre. In case you missed the tween-tastic action, here are the highlights:
1. Twilight Gives Back
For once, the Twilight smash franchise wasn't just winning awards – the stars were giving them away!
After Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner picked up their surf boards for their on-screen performances, the leading vampire was feeling rather generous.
"I don't know if I'm allowed to – can I give this to the audience?" Pattinson asked, before handing his summery prize to fans in the audience. Stewart then followed his example and also gave away her award.

Could there be too much to know about Robert Pattinson?
Consider what he said Thursday at Comic-Con while promoting Breaking Dawn: Part 2.
When questioned, he and Kristen Stewart were mum on whether or not they've been reading E.L. James's sex-filled bestseller, 50 Shades of Grey – but the Twilight actor knows what he would do if the risqué read was right in front of him.
"I would just sit there and lick the pages," Pattinson, 26, told MTV's Josh Horowitz with a laugh on Thursday during an interview at the fest in San Diego, adding, "What are we live on?" – as he realized his silly response would gain attention.
Stewart, 22, on the other hand, was less upbeat about the topic.
When asked if she reads the novel in a book club with Pattinson and fellow Twilight star Taylor Lautner, she said simply, "That would be disgusting."

Patrick Schwarzenegger is getting plenty of quality time with the Taylors – Swift and Lautner that is!
After hanging out with Taylor Swift in Hyannis Port, Mass., over the Fourth of July, Schwarzenegger, 18, was spotted this weekend filming the movie Grown Ups 2 north of Boston with Swift's ex, Twilight star Taylor Lautner.
The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver reportedly plays a fraternity brother of Lautner's in Grown Ups 2, costarring Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek.

Breaking Dawn Part 2: See Jacob Meet Renesmee

This still from Breaking Dawn: Part 2 might seem to portray a cute conversation between werewolf babysitter Jacob and Renesmee – the daughter of Jacob's former crush, Bella – but there's an underlying storyline that even Taylor Lautner admits people think is "creepy."
Because of a werewolf-related process called "imprinting," Lautner's Jacob is irrevocably (as Bella might say) tied to the child (played by Mackenzie Foy). Jacob will fill a protective, older-brother role to the child until she matures.

It's been four movies in the making, and the final showdown of the Twilight saga is (almost) upon us.
A new trailer for the final installment, Breaking Dawn: Part 2, shows Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan embracing her new role as a full-fledged vampire and expands on previously-released teasers.
"After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I've finally found that I can shine. I was born to be a vampire," Stewart intones at the start of the clip.

Bella is back!
After spending half of Breaking Dawn wasting away due to a very complicated pregnancy, Bella Swan (Kristin Stewart) has crossed over to immortality.
In the newly released trailer for Breaking Dawn: Part 2, Bella is now a vampire. "After 18 years of being utterly ordinary," she says, "I finally found that I can shine."
Complete with red eyes and pale skin, the transformed Bella is seen caressing her love Edward (Robert Pattinson) as he tells her, "[You're] so beautiful. We're the same temperature now."
The short clip ends with a frightening shot of Bella stalking a deer in the woods. There will no doubt be more action for the vampires – and werewolves – in Breaking Dawn: Part 2, which hits theaters on Nov. 16.

Adam Sandler Nominated for 11 Razzie Awards

Adam Sandler isn't up for an Oscar this year, but his work did not go unrecognized.
The comedian, 45, has earned 11 nominations between three movies from the Golden Raspberry Awards – or the Razzies – which honor the worst in film.
But that's not the worst of it: Sandler's work – as either actor, writer or producer – on Jack & Jill, Bucky Larson and Just Go With It surpassed Eddie Murphy's old record of five nods. Sandler's nominations include worst picture, worst screen couple, worst screenplay, worst rip-off, worst actor, worst actress and worst screen ensemble.

Maybe that werewolf role left its mark! Twilight's Taylor Lautner was enjoying a low-key dinner with a male and female companion at Locanda del Lago in Santa Monica, Calif., where the actor was spotted eating a very rare steak. Lautner and his friends sat at a table near a row of windows overlooking the Third Street Promenade during their late dinner. His dinner companions, meanwhile, ordered a risotto dish at the Northern Italian restaurant.

There's actually good news for everyone here. Twilight fans can rejoice that Breaking Dawn – Part 1, opening Friday, is a breathless, faithful portrayal of so much they've waited to see: Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella's (Kristen Stewart) wedding, honeymoon and their darling, matricidal little bundle of joy.
Twilight haters can delight in the fact that it's the beginning of the end.
As a fully recovered Twi-hard for whom the book Breaking Dawn was a breaking point, I get it. Years have passed for fans waiting to get to this moment, the inarguably gorgeous, wildly over the top nuptials of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, and here, Part 1 doesn't disappoint.

Kristen Stewart: Why Being a Vampire Hurts So Bad

Costars said she was easy on the eyes when she turned heads in a dazzling white wedding dress.
But not everything Kristen Stewart wore while filming Breaking Dawn was easy on her eyes.
When the Twilight actress made her vampire transformation for the second part of the saga's final installment – the first of which arrives in theaters Friday – it wasn't the fangs she had to get used to … it was the amber contact lenses all of the vampires wear in the film.
"That is one thing I can't wait to say goodbye to," Stewart, 21, tells MTV News of the eyewear accessory. "They just kill you. [They give you] dead face."
