Tiger & Elin's Wedding Pastor Predicts: It Will Work Out
Originally posted 02/09/2010 11:00AM
The Rev. Ricky Kirton, the pastor who performed the marriage of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, has a message for the troubled couple: "Forgive each other. Be there for each other, and it will work out."
After learning of the pair's marital troubles, which came to light after the pro-golfer's Thanksgiving car crash, the Barbados-based preacher "started to pray for them," he tells PEOPLE.
Though he hasn't spoken to the couple since their wedding in 2004 at the swanky Sandy Lane resort in Barbados, Kirton recalls that both were "charismatic" and "attractive," and how, like all the couples he marries, they appeared to be in love.

"No matter what else is going on in Elin's life, nothing gets in the way of her children and their activities," a source tells PEOPLE. "She is a wonderful and loving mom."
Meanwhile, there has been no sign of Woods, who reportedly left Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services clinic in Hattiesburg, Miss., last week.

Can Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Save Their Marriage?
Originally posted 02/05/2010 06:50PM
If Tiger Woods has completed his stint in rehab for sexual addiction, as some reports maintain, will he be cured? Not necessarily.
Several experts say that if the golf star and his wife Elin Nordegren, who have not been seen publicly together since before the fateful fight they had Thanksgiving night, will have to do a great deal to resurrect their relationship – if they can at all.
First, Woods is likely to have a tough time coping. Sexual addiction experts say it can be easier to give up alcohol or even heroin than sex because the body doesn't physically need the drugs.
"Sex is a biological appetite," Marty Kafka, a specialist in sexual addiction at the Harvard University Medical School, tells PEOPLE. "We need it for the species to survive."

When Will Tiger Return to Golf?
Originally posted 02/05/2010 10:45AM
With speculation running rampant that Tiger Woods has left the Mississippi sex rehab facility where he's reportedly been seeking treatment, one of the questions on everyone's mind is: When will Woods return to golf?
"At this point, I don't even think Tiger knows when he's coming back," says veteran golf writer Art Spander, who spoke with Woods the weekend before his infamous Thanksgiving car crash that made world headlines.
One venue where Woods might re-emerge is the Accenture Match Play Championship, a five-day competition in Marana, Ariz., that begins Wednesday, Feb. 17. Woods has won the event, which is open to the world's top 64 golfers, three times. And as the world's No.-1 ranked player, he's technically already entered to compete.

The 30-year-old Swedish supermodel "looked like she had no makeup on, and she was wearing a hat, but she still looked gorgeous. She was paying attention to her son the whole time," the witness says. The trio weren't at the restaurant long. "She came in and ate very quickly," the source adds. "The manager had to ask the paparazzi to stay outside … They ate really quickly, and then they left."

Elin Nordegren is hoping to save her marriage to Tiger Woods because she doesn't want to raise their two children without a father.
"Elin wants a solid family life," a Florida source tells PEOPLE. "She was a child of divorce and felt her dad slighted her. She absolutely does not want that to happen to Sam and Charlie. So she wants to keep her family together even if she and Tiger live together as friends instead of lovers."
During the past week, Nordegren, 30, reportedly visited her husband at the Gentle Path sexual addiction clinic in Hattiesburg, Miss., where he has been getting treatment.
During the middle of the six-week counseling session, a patient's spouse is invited to visit for about a week, according to a former patient of the alcohol addiction section of the Hattiesburg clinic.

Originally posted 01/24/2010 10:25PM
Almost everyone in Hattiesburg, Miss., knows someone who says they have seen Tiger Woods, who is reportedly in town for sex rehab. But it's hard to find anyone who will talk about actually seeing the golfer face-to-face.
There are paparazzi camped outside the Gentle Path sexual addiction rehab clinic – and rumors are running rampant through the tiny town, one alleging that Woods rented out a nearby golf course to play a round of golf and another claiming that he has rented a house for his family.
A barista at Starbucks swears she saw the golfer last week when a man wearing a hat, scarf and sunglasses came in and ordered a coffee to go. "I think it was him because he was just so covered up. He was really bundled up and it wasn't even cold," the source told PEOPLE.
And now, rumors are swirling that Tiger's wife Elin Nordegren has landed in town.
