Tim Allen's sitcom Last Man Standing kicks off its fifth season on Sept. 25, and the Golden Globe winner is promising that show will skew political and make some jabs at Hillary Clinton's bid for the 2016 presidency.
"We're going to drill Hillary," Allen told Fox News at the Television Critics Association event for the show. "It will be horrible personally if Hillary continued [to lead the Democrats], but it will be great for the storyline if she continues."

The Taylors are getting back together!
In tonight's episode of Last Man Standing that stars Tim Allen, Jonathan Taylor Thomas will make a "surprise" cameo – along with the previously announced Patricia Richardson – to help round out the impromptu Home Improvement reunion.
Richardson plays Helen Potts, a divorced neighbor of Allen's character, Mike. So how did the former Randy Taylor, aka the 33-year-old Thomas, end up in the episode, as well? Thomas came to the set to help promote the mini-reunion and the producers asked if he would step in to make a cameo. Lucky for Home Improvement fans, he did!

Tim Allen visited The Tonight Show Monday night and revealed that he still bears something of a grudge against Tom Hanks over their share of the Toy Story series' lines: Allen thinks Hanks's character, Woody, got the lion's share of lines, with Allen's Lightyear tasked with nothing but reactions.

Attention '90s TV fans: Prepare to have your minds blown.
On Wednesday, the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of Dark Tourist starring Melanie Griffith featured a double reunion of stars from two beloved '90s shows: Beverly Hills, 90210 and Home Improvement.
Beverly Hills' resident hunks Luke Perry and Jason Priestly, who played Dylan McKay and Brandon Walsh, looked as cooly casual as they found each other on the carpet and posed for photos with their signature smoldering stares. (Last year, the pair appeared together in an Old Navy commercial featuring fellow Beverly Hills alum Jennie Garth.)

Jonathan Taylor Thomas, formerly of TV's Home Improvement, left Hollywood at the height of his career, a decision he's never second-guessed.
"I'd been going nonstop since I was 8 years old," the 31-year-old actor, who appeared with Tim Allen on that ABC sitcom from 1991-99, tells PEOPLE. "I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break."
In the nearly a decade away from the limelight, he attended Harvard, Columbia and St. Andrew's University in Scotland, and relished his time as a student.
"To sit in a big library amongst books and students, that was pretty cool," says Thomas. "It was a novel experience for me."

Once a family, always a family.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas makes a guest appearance on Tim Allen's ABC sitcom Last Man Standing this Friday. But several of the jokes are about a show that went off the air 14 years ago – Home Improvement, on which Allen and Thomas played father and son.
"Man, you look familiar," Allen says in Friday's episode (to much laughter from the audience) upon meeting Thomas's character, a restaurant owner who has designs on Allen's daughter Kristin.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas turned out for a Home Improvement reunion photo shoot. So does this mean the former teen heartthrob will make a long-awaited TV comeback?
"I think at this point, I’d eventually like to work behind the camera," Thomas, 30, who quit the sitcom in 1998, tells Entertainment Weekly. "That’s not to say I would never act again, I’m not quite sure to be honest. I still have a passion for TV and film [and] could see myself working in it."
As for his reunion with his former castmates, including his on-screen parents Tim Allen and Patricia Richardson, Thomas says, "It was like a family reunion, like old times."

Since he abruptly left Home Improvement after its penultimate season in 1998, fans of Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who celebrates his 30th birthday Thursday, have been clamoring to know what the baby-faced actor has been up to.
Studying – for one thing.
Thomas, whose legal name is Jonathan Weiss, attended Harvard University from 2000-2002 (he spent one semester abroad in Scotland) and graduated from Columbia University in 2010, where he went by the name Jonathan Weiss. In class, recalls a fellow student, "He loved to talk. He'd say really intelligent things."
He also filmed TV guest spots on Veronica Mars and 8 Simple Rules but has stayed largely out of the public eye and hasn't appeared on camera since 2005.
