The Heisman Trophy winner has been hired as a college football analyst for the new SEC Network in a return to his Florida glory days, but he still hopes to play quarterback in the NFL.
Tebow will appear on "SEC Nation," a pregame show that will travel to a different campus each week after the channel launches in August. The multiyear deal "will not preclude him from continuing to pursue playing opportunities in the NFL," ESPN, which runs the network, said in a statement Monday.

Tim Tebow hasn't given up hope of playing in the NFL after being cut by the New England Patriots.
"I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback," he Tweeted Saturday.
He has now been let go by his third team in 18 months. With the regular season just five days away, his chances of immediately catching on with another team seem slim.
Tebow thanked owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels after failing to survive New England's mandatory roster cut to 53 players.

They're buff, beautiful and now playing quarterback on the same NFL team.
With former University of Florida standout and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow joining the New England Patriots this week, hitting the mini-camp practice field for the first time Tuesday, he has tough shoes to fill but also adds to the Pats' hunk factor as he joins the lineup with superstar QB and glam dad Tom Brady.
Tebow, 25, who will wear No. 5 this season, has graced the cover of GQ magazine and attempted to make a go of it as an NFL quarterback, moving from the New York Jets where he struggled to fit in last season.

Third time's a charm?
After mixed results in stints with the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets, Tim Tebow signed with his third NFL team, the New England Patriots.
The 2010 Heisman Trophy winner, 25, will compete with Ryan Mallett for the job of backup quarterback behind Tom Brady.

Has self-described picky dater Tim Tebow found that special someone?
According to new reports, the New York Jets quarterback, 25, has made his latest pass – not to a wide receiver but at actress Camilla Belle.
TMZ.com reports that the pair were spotted getting cozy Tuesday while doing a little bowling at Latitude 30 in Jacksonville, Fla. PEOPLE has confirmed they were bowling, but according to an observer, they were joined by Tebow's brother, Robby, and some friends. Says the observer: "This was not a romantic date. She was with him, his brother, and some friends."

What is Tim Tebow, one of the NFL's most eligible bachelors, looking for in a girlfriend? Someone who's kind and humble and, yes, beautiful – but on the inside as well as the outside.
"Obviously looks play a big part. Being attracted to someone plays a big part, but there's also so much more than that for me," the New York Jets quarterback, 25, tells Vogue in its October issue. (See video of the photo shoot.)
"It's about finding someone sweet and kind – and that has a servant's heart."

If he's trying to win fans in New York, unearthing hot shirtless photos is a good start.
Newly-minted New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is showing off his blue eyes on the September cover of GQ magazine – while inside he's showing off a whole lot more. (If you're on a desktop computer, see multiple photos above – outtakes from a 2009 GQ photoshoot.)
"I think if they're a Jets fan, hopefully they'll be rooting for me," says the ESPY winner, who joined the New Jersey-based team in March and is preparing for his first regular season with them.

Tim Tebow is taking the most of his off-season! The football star headed out in West Hollywood on Saturday, where he went to dinner with a group of people at hotspot Craig's.
Tebow and seven friends – including a mystery woman – took over a back corner table.
Clad in jeans and a light blue T-shirt, Tebow sat close to a tall young, brunette woman, an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "She wasn't famous," the onlooker says. "She was skinny with long, dark hair and appeared to be in her early 20s."
But even with a young lady by his side, the source says, "He focused his attention on the men in the group as they all talked about football and were laughing and joking, seeming to enjoy their conversation."

Shame they didn't give out prizes for best disguise at the ESPY Awards this year.
Jessica Biel, Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow would have all been in the running, as they played dress-up in the ESPYs photo booth – after Lin and Tebow won awards for breakthrough player and best moment, respectively.
Biel, one of the celebrity presenters at Wednesday's show in Los Angeles, posed with a black masquerade-party mask, while New York Knicks guard Lin donned a crown and giant sunglasses and New York Jets quarterback Tebow sported a fake mustache.
Lin posted the photos to his Twitter account, along with the note: "THANKS and much LOVE to all the fans for the espy votes!!"
