Sunday night's VMAs were chock full of '90s nostalgia.
Not only did 'NSYNC reunite, but Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas of TLC took the stage to introduce Drake's performance.
"We never broke up," Watkins, 43, told PEOPLE at the ceremony's red carpet arrivals in Brooklyn. "We've been doing shows overseas every year and have been busy being mommies. Chilli and I see each other all the time."
For the past 20 years, the Grammy-winning group grew up together and heavily relied on each other through all their success and heartaches.

CrazySexyCool … or just crazy? You decide.
Keke Palmer, 19, Drew Sidora, 28, and Lil Mama, 23, have taken on roles as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (respectively) in VH1's original movie, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story – But how do they match up?
The trailer has the actresses sporting the singers' signature hairdos, oversized neon apparel and is chock-full of their catch phrases. The ladies also reenact music videos to the R&B group's iconic hits, "No Scrubs," "Creep," and "Waterfalls."
