Gisele Bündchen Sued Over Gunshots at Wedding

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady may have a problem on their hands.
Five months after their second wedding ceremony in Costa Rica was allegedly interrupted by gunfire, two photographers who claim Bündchen and Brady's security team fired at them have filed a complaint in Manhattan Federal Court accusing the couple of assault and battery. They are seeking $1,000,000 in damages.
The lawsuit, filed on Sept. 22, says that Yuri Cortez, the central American bureau chief of Agence France-Presse, and Rolando Aviles, a freelance photographer based in Costa Rica, were trying to photograph Brady and Bündchen's post-wedding festivities on April 4 when security guards fired on them.

Gisele Bündchen may be 6 months pregnant, but that's not stopping her from taking lessons to learn to fly a helicopter, a friend confirms to PEOPLE.
While husband Tom Brady, 32, is in training with the New England Patriots, Bündchen has been doing her own training outside her new hometown of Boston. "She's been coming to the airfield for a couple months and she started her lessons a few weeks ago," says Keith Douglass, president of Shoreline Aviation, a company that provides private jets and aviation lessons.
"She's gung ho about learning to fly. She's one of the best students we've ever had," says Douglass. "She's excellent at learning and understanding what makes the helicopters fly. She knows all the rules and regulations. She's fantastic at flying the helicopter. She is very smooth and professional and she listens."

Despite his status as football's golden boy, not everything goes according to plan for Tom Brady.
In December 2006, Brady split with actress Bridget Moynahan, who was in her first trimester of pregnancy. The baby, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was born the following August. Although Brady was thrilled with his new son, he now acknowledges that the situation caught him off guard.
"That's not how you envisioned your life, that's not how you envisioned having children," he tells Details in its September Issue, "but it happens."

Tom Brady Gets Ambushed on His Birthday

Tom Brady turned 32 on Monday, and it looks like everyone remembered his special day.
The New England Patriots quarterback was appearing on SIRIUS XM's Mad Dog Radio Show on Monday when his parents, Tom and Galynn, called in and surprised him by singing "Happy Birthday." It was a special sacrifice for Brady's west coast-based parents, who had to get up at 3:45 a.m. to perform the serenade.
"I wasn't expecting this," Brady laughed.
The fun continued at football practice later that afternoon. According to the Boston Globe, players stole Brady's helmet during the pre-practice stretches. Then, during the huddle, the team ambushed Brady by pouring a bucket of ice water over his head and rubbing cake in his face.

Schoolteacher Fishes Tom Brady Out of Water

In what sounds like the plotline of a romantic comedy, a Massachusetts woman fished Tom Brady out of the water.
The breathtaking rescue operation took place after the New England Patriots quarterback and his wife, Gisele Bündchen, went kayaking in the Charles River – and Brady fell in.
To save the day: local schoolteacher Robin Leeds.
"We were tying up our boat to a buoy and the boat boy came over and said, 'You are never going to guess who is on the Charles renting kayaks right now … Do you want to go check it out?' " Leeds told Boston's Channel 7 News. "I said, 'Yeah.' "

Tom Brady Cherishes Time with His Son

For Tom Brady it seems that absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
The football star shares custody of his 1½-year-old son John Edward Thomas with ex, Bridget Moynahan – but he says that arrangement makes the time with his boy even more important.
"I don't see him every day, and we play when I change his diaper: lifting his leg up, playing with his toes, biting his feet," the New England Patriots quarterback tells Sports Illustrated in its June 1, issue on newsstands Wednesday. "There's a different appreciation. If you had him every day, you'd go, 'Let's just get this done.' But when you get him, say, one week a month, you're like, 'This is so cool!' "

Gisele: Planning Two Secret Weddings Wasn't Easy

So far, so great, new bride Gisele Bündchen says of married life: "I think I'm the happiest person. You know what the secret to being happy is? Being grateful. And I'm very grateful."
Bündchen, 28, who spoke to PEOPLE at a Wednesday gala benefiting the Rainforest Alliance at New York's Museum of Natural History, certainly has a lot to be grateful for – starting with her new husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 31.
She admits pulling off two top-secret weddings – a Feb. 26 ceremony at a Catholic church in Santa Monica, and a second fete at her Costa Rican vacation home on April 4 – was no easy feat. "We tried very hard to keep it private. Oh my God, you have no idea how hard that was," Bündchen said with a laugh.
