Tom Brady was all about giving back over the weekend.
The New England Patriots quarterback, 34, headed up the 13th Annual Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port over the weekend, as part of his ambassador duties for the organization.
The weekend's events raised $4.5 million in donations for the nonprofit organization, dedicated to creating friendship, employment and leadership training opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization has grown to chapters in about 1500 middle school, high school and college chapters worldwide.
Starting with a challenge on Friday, the athlete played QB alongside some Best Buddies participants, supporters and fellow New England Patriots.

A little horseplay before Saturday's big race at the Kentucky Derby?
With no sign of his recent companion, Mila Kunis, at his side, Ashton Kutcher made it a boys' night out at Friday's Barnstable Brown Party, Louisville's most elite and swanky Derby Eve celebration – where he also patched up a simmering feud with Miranda Lambert.
Having formerly accused the Two and a Half Men star of making fun of country music when he presented her with the Female Vocalist of the Year award at last month's Academy of Country Music Awards, Lambert posed for a friendly picture with Kutcher at Friday night's soiree, then Tweeted, along with the photo: "here it is y’all. He is sweet and lives country music! For real!:)"

Defeat is a bitter pill to swallow – especially at the Super Bowl.
Perhaps it was made a bit easier for Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady, whose wife Gisele Bündchen was on hand to comfort him in Indianapolis on Sunday night, after losing 21-17 to Eli Manning and the New York Giants in a suspenseful fourth quarter.
But playing the supportive footballer's wife means more than just being a shoulder to cry on. The supermodel was caught on camera defending her husband after being heckled by fans.

Tim Tebow is as known for his game-time prayer poses as he is for his fourth-quarter comebacks. Come Saturday night, the Denver Broncos quarterback will get yet another shot at redemption.
The game comes a week after a noteworthy Broncos victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, in which Tebow threw a career-high 316 yards (a number that corresponds to his favorite Bible verse).
But last time Tebow went head-to-head with Tom Brady's New England Patriots, his six-game winning streak was put to a halt in the hands of the seasoned pro.

"I've had wonderful influences in my life – my parents, my brothers and sister – and I just thought at a very young age if you don’t have that, you might as well throw in the towel ... I think at the end of the day your family is all you’ve got. There’s lots of fights and disagreements, [but] I come from an amazing family."
Anthony Shriver, carrying on his and sister Maria Shriver's annual tradition of participating in the Best Buddies Challenge bike ride from the JFK Library in Boston to the beach in Hyannis Port this weekend, told PEOPLE his secrets to success. The father of five started Best Buddies International, which promotes friendships for people with intellectual disabilities, in 1989.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady attended Gisele's twin sister Patricia's wedding in Brazil on Saturday – and their 3-month-old son Benjamin cut a dashing figure, sporting a mini tuxedo for the occasion.
Patricia, who is Gisele's fraternal twin, married Rodrigo Pereira at the Laurentia Vineyard outside Porto Alegre. Gisele, 29, served as maid of honor – leaving Brady, 32, in charge of the diaper bag.
The evening coincided with Earth Hour, when people around the world turn off their lights for an hour as a symbolic commitment to the environment – a gesture the wedding guests also observed.

Gisele Bündchen may not be getting much sleep since giving birth to her first child, Benjamin, with husband Tom Brady in December – but she doesn't mind.
"I haven't slept much," the supermodel, who says she's up at all hours breast-feeding, tells Brazil's Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper. "It is really tiring, but it's such a special moment that I am enjoying it to the maximum. I have dedicated my days completely to him."
Bündchen, 29, calls her newborn son "a little angel," and says becoming a parent has changed her. "To be a mother is a magical experience. The whole body is transformed by this," she says. "It really is the miracle of life. I am really happy!"

Now that Tom Brady is a father for the second time, his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, the mother of his 2-year-old Jack, is offering her congratulations.
"I wish [Tom and Gisele] the best with their baby," the actress, 38, tells PEOPLE in a statement. "I'm sure my son will enjoy having a half-sibling. I ask the press to respect our privacy while we are welcoming this new addition to our extended family."
Bündchen, sources say, is currently recovering with her mother Vania and sister Patricia by her side, after delivering the baby boy Tuesday night.
Brady said on Wednesday that the couple have not yet picked a name for their newborn son.

Tom Brady knew that his wife Gisele Bündchen was having a boy before she did, but that hasn't made it any easier for the quarterback to select a name.
"I don't have any picks, so we haven't really chosen one yet," Brady, 32, said Wednesday of their new arrival. "But everyone is great. Everyone is doing really well."

There's another Brady in the bunch.
Gisele Bündchen and husband Tom Brady welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday night.
Brady announced the news to reporters Wednesday after People.com reported the story. The football star called his son's birth "a wonderful experience in my life." He also told reporters happily, "I didn't get much sleep last night," USA Today reports.
Bündchen, 29, and New England Patriots quarterback Brady, 32, were married in a private ceremony in February in Los Angeles. In April, they held a follow-up wedding for friends and family at Bündchen's Costa Rican estate.
