Nicole Kidman Burned Her Journals When She Married Keith Urban

Unlike many of her Hollywood peers, Nicole Kidman says she prefers to keep an air of mystery about her life.

So that means no tell-all memoir, no blogging, and no Tweeting.

"If you know what is going on inside somebody's head all the time that's not a good place," the actress, 42, tells the December issue of British GQ.

"You can't read somebody's diary. You shouldn't read it. I burnt most of my journals after I remarried ... You're only going to find out bad things."

In the interview, however, Kidman gives a hint about the adventurousness that infused her romances over the years.

"My life has been about exploring types of love," she says. "I've explored obsession, I've explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I've explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I've explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy. But I'm still on that journey."

Suri Cruise's 'Sweet' Weekend in Boston

All work and no play makes Tom a dull boy – which is why Tom Cruise took time off from filming for quality family time in Boston.

While Cruise, 47, has been shooting his latest flick Wichita in Boston, his daughter Suri, 3, has been with her mom, Katie Holmes, 30. But on Saturday, the leading man snuck away from the set so the trio could stroll along the Charles River and play at a nearby park.

According to an eyewitness, "[Suri] was full of energy and laughter – and Tom and Katie even joined her for a sprint across the park." After working up a sweat, the three took a seat on a nearby bench, where Suri fell asleep in her father's arms. "They all looked very happy to be spending the day together," the eyewitness says.

Tom Cruise Does the 'Single Ladies' Dance at Beyoncé's Show

• Tom Cruise, doing the famous "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" dance at Beyoncé's concert at L.A.'s Staples Center. "Everyone was laughing and taking pictures," a concertgoer tells us of the scene. When the actor originally arrived – sans wife Katie Holmes, who is filming her new movie in Australia – he waved and smiled at fans who stood up and cheered when they saw him walk in. Cruise then settled in next to the sound booth where he sang (and danced!) along all night.

Katie and Suri Hit the Pool in Australia

After the Cruise clan did some high-profile celebrating in Australia last week, the ladies of the family took time out to spend a relaxing day by the pool.

With Tom Cruise checking out of the Melbourne hotel Tuesday, wife Katie Holmes and their 3-year-old daughter Suri remained "very much in residence" at their luxury digs, according to a source.

Dressed in a flattering tangerine one-piece swimsuit, Holmes played with Suri who held onto a blue floatation noodle in the indoor pool. The duo spent time in the spa, then headed to the larger pool where they were surrounded by local Melbourne children vacationing with their families.

Tom & Katie Share Cameron Diaz's Big Moment

It wasn't just any old ceremony when Cameron Diaz got her star on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame, it was a star-studded event: Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and sister Charlie's Angels star Lucy Liu gathered with the hundred of fans who witnessed Diaz's honor in front of the Egyptian Theater on Monday.

Diaz, whose My Sister's Keeper opens Friday, credited her success to her parents and said, "I dedicate this star to the eternal love that my mom and dad shared. It was what has given me the strength and courage to live this extraordinary life, and it was that powers the light that burns inside of me, bright enough for me to be honored today with this star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."

Diaz, 36, is the 2,386th star to be so honored on the famed sidewalk. Her beloved father, Emilio Diaz, died in April 2008, at age 58. The actress's mother, Billie, as well as her older sister, Chimene, also attended the ceremony.
