Connor Cruise sure knew how to get the party started on Friday night.

Tom Cruise's son took on deejaying duties at new Hollywood club, Create, where he chatted with ladies and kept the crowd going past 2:30 a.m.

While pumping his fist and seemingly having a blast, Cruise played remixes of Icona Pop's "I Love It" and Ellie Goulding's "I Need Your Love."

Acting is a tough business, but Tom Cruise assured a group of aspiring actors on Sunday that it doesn't have to be Mission: Impossible.

The A-list star, 51, made an unannounced appearance at The Joanne Baron & D.W. Brown Studio graduation this weekend, and delivered an inspiring speech to its shocked graduates, according to the New York Post and fans on Twitter.

The speech touched on how the mega-star got the acting bug, made inroads in the business, and offered advice on staying humble after that first big break.

Tom Cruise, she dished, name-checking her former flame, with whom she had an affair in the '80s, long before he was married to first wife Mimi Rogers and went on to become a global film star.

Appearing as a guest on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live in a segment dubbed "Truth or Cher," the singer and Academy Award-winning actress, 67, participated a bit of kiss-and-tell about her famous love life with show host Andy Cohen, who asked for a list of her best lovers over the years.

"Well, a lot of them kind of came in first," Cher demurred before noting unabashedly, "I had just the greatest lovers ever."

The NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs saw a lot of celebrity love Thursday with actors and their famililes turning out across the country turning out to enthusiastically support their respective teams.

In Los Angeles, single guy Tom Cruise, 50, high-fived producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who joined director Jason Reitman at a Thursday game to cheer on a 3-0 win against the San Jose Sharks.

Also in attendance at the Western Conference semi-final game: Ryan O'Neal, who enjoyed a sports outing with son Patrick.

Former NASCAR Driver Dick Trickle Dies of Apparent Suicide

Dick Trickle, whose larger-than-life personality and penchant for fun won him legions of fans despite a lack of success beyond the nation's small tracks, died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said. He was 71.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said authorities received a call believed to be from Trickle, who said "there would be a dead body and it would be his." Authorities tried to call the number back, but no one answered.

Trickle's body was found near his pickup truck at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Boger City, N.C., about 40 miles northwest of Charlotte. Sheriff's Lieutenant Tim Johnson said foul play was not suspected.

The 50-year-old actor spent a whopping three-plus hours fist-bumping, snapping pictures and high-fiving the massive crowd that assembled on Hollywood Boulevard Wednesday night for the L.A. premiere of his new sci-fi film, Oblivion.

But while he happily chatted with fans, the megastar – who, contrary to reports, did not talk about his 2012 divorce from Katie Holmes in a German magazine this week – smoothly deflected a question about whether he is open to finding love again.

"Right now, all I'm thinking about is Oblivion!" he told PEOPLE.
