Katy Perry was a social butterfly on a recent night out at Soho House in West Hollywood.
Wearing a white lace dress, the pop star ran into a table of business associates having dinner in the garden and stopped to catch up before heading inside to the bustling bar to meet up with friends.
The recently single singer "was all smiles and in great spirits," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "She had hellos for everyone at the table. She was adorable and spoke to them in a character-like cutesy voice before making her exit about five minutes later."
Things were calm for Tom Hardy, who was also at the Soho House the same Wednesday evening.
The Dark Knight Rises actor was spotted "having a nice time with a small group of friends around the bar area," an onlooker says. "He was chatting away and listening to stories while he sipped on a cocktail."
"He looked like he was enjoying a very low-key night out," the source adds.

"You're not Batman anymore," Alfred (Michael Caine) tells his boss. By the looks of hobbled recluse Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) bent over his cane, it's a shock that he ever was.
These are the darkest days in Christopher Nolan's epic trilogy, a morality play that all but restages the French Revolution in its final chapter, as a new villain topples the city. It's an engrossing story with a real sense of peril – as long as you ignore the dangerously gaping plot holes and long running time.
So what makes Batman dig his cape out of mothballs after eight years?

He's giving Bruce Wayne a run for his money!
Prince Harry looked like a dashing superhero on the red carpet as he arrived for the London premiere of Christopher Nolan's new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, in a fine-looking blue suit, white button-down shirt and black shoes. The only thing missing was his tie – and a cape!
Though he hasn't been seen in a bat suit, the Prince did recently don sleek body-boarding gear on a trip to Cornwall. He's also been known to wear various costumes – both silly and serious.

Tom Hardy may be a bankable Hollywood star these days, but one of his biggest roles is off-screen: as a father to his 4-year-old son, Louis.
"I like to go no longer than three weeks without seeing my loved ones, but it does take some juggling," Hardy, 34, tells Company Magazine's August issue of being a working dad who often has to film far from home.
"I'm very much aware of being a 'Skype father,' which is sad," he says. "But I have to have the finances to make sure [my son will] be secure, and I can only do that by working."

They were one of the hottest casts to walk the red carpet this year in Cannes. The stars of the western crime drama Lawless gathered for a special PEOPLE shoot, right after their big moment on the steps of the Palais de Festivals on May 19.
Shot steps from the Palais at the Baoli Beach Club before their after-party, the cast includes Guy Pearce, Jason Clarke, Shia LaBeouf (who brought his mother as his date), Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hardy and Dane DeHaan.
The close-knit cast toasted each other and Chastain, a red carpet mainstay this year, who was on the cover of French magazine Gala. When Hardy held up the magazine vertically, pretending that Chastain was a centerfold, the group burst out laughing.
Festival veteran Wasikowska says, "It's always so great here. It's like Hollywood on overload!"

For anyone who believes rumors that she's dating actor Tom Hardy, Lindsay Lohan wants to set them straight.
"Tom Hardy is just a friend of mine ... The tabloids are wrong," she Tweeted Monday.
The actress, 24, left rehab earlier this month when rumors of her supposed romancing of Hardy began to spread. The British actor was recently cast as the villain, Bane, in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.

It's not a dream: Inception star Tom Hardy is engaged to his girlfriend British actress Charlotte Riley.
The pair met on the set of a British TV adaptation of Wuthering Heights last year (he played Heathcliff to her Cathy) and are hoping to wed next year. They are already planning the event, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The Mail on Sunday claims that she may even take a bigger-than-usual role in the celebrations. Not only will the 28-year-old walk down the aisle, but she also wants to help provide the entertainment. Riley sometimes sings in a band that she hopes will perform for guests.
A rep for Riley confirmed they were engaged this summer. A rep for Hardy, 33, had no comment.
