Parenthood Has Strengthened Tony Romo & Candice Crawford's Marriage

Life already seemed pretty peachy for Tony Romo and his wife Candice Crawford since they wed a year ago, but adding son Hawkins to the mix last month has made it even sweeter.
"If it's possible to bring you and your wife closer together, something like this really does," Romo, 32, told PEOPLE during a recent photo shoot for Starter athletic wear.
"It strengthens your family values and your family and the love you have, which is already really strong. It's been a great blessing from God to put us in this situation. We feel very honored."

Jessica Simpson may be keeping mum about what may or may not be impending mommyhood, but her ex, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, is playing it more direct.
During a visit to Cedar Hill High School near Dallas, a student asked if he has any children. "Um, no, I don't have any kids," Romo replied, following up with, "I've actually got one on the way. My wife's pregnant."
As the students clapped, Romo, 31, smiled, raised his fist and said, "It'll be fun."

Many take the time to celebrate their final moments of single life before their wedding day, but when it came to Tony Romo's bachelor celebration, the football star went quite the untraditional route.
"I didn't feel like going out drinking that night," the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, 31, told Yahoo! Sports's Graham Besinger on his show In Depth with Graham Bensinger. (Watch the full interview below.) "We tried to come up with a game, but when you're with 14-15 guys, there aren't a lot of non-drinking games at that age you can do."
So Romo, who stayed with his pals in a cabin in West Virginia, decided to get creative.

It may not have been the Royal Wedding, but Tony Romo and Candice Crawford certainly went all out for their big day – and there's a wedding video to prove it.
The video hit the Internet looking more like a blockbuster movie trailer than nuptial footage, and as soon as it made the rounds was pulled from YouTube.
The nearly five-minute highlight reel shows the couple's extravagant nuptials, including wedding day preparations (Romo grooming his stubble/Crawford getting airbrushed), confetti at the ceremony and fireworks at the reception. Also at the reception: an impressive dessert bar, complete with chocolate footballs, and a cigar-rolling station.

Tony Romo is off the market – and it appears he couldn't be happier.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, 31, said "I do" to Chace Crawford's sister Candice, 24, on Saturday at Arlington Hall in Dallas in front of approximately 600 guests.
"It was perfect," a source told PEOPLE about the elegant affair. "From the ceremony ... to a vibrant after-party and great music selected by Tony himself."
Attendees, including Miles Austin and Troy Aikman, looked on at the grinning bride and groom, who both wore white.
The couple, engaged since December, first started dating in 2009.

An NFL lockout couldn't stop Tony Romo from scoring the ultimate touchdown this weekend – the Dallas Cowboys quarterback married Candice Crawford on Saturday evening at Arlington Hall in Dallas, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
"It was perfect! From the ceremony in beautiful white, to a vibrant after-party and great music selected by Tony himself," says a source, noting the packed dance floor. Reportedly, 600 guests attended.
Cowboy players past and present, such as Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Dez Bryant and Miles Austi, as well as team owner Jerry Jones, were seen helping the couple celebrate their nuptials in the historic building tucked in the city's Oak Lawn neighborhood, reports Dallas's KDAF-TV.

They've remained mum about a wedding date ever since announcing their engagement in December, but that's not stopping Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo from already treating fiancée Candice Crawford's family like … family.
Candice's brother, Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford, has been partying with the happy couple at pre-Super Bowl parties throughout the week. On Saturday night, Candice's parents joined all of them at an exclusive dinner party hosted by Audi at the Audi Forum Dallas.
"Tony and Chace are already friends," says a source. "They're going to have fun being brothers-in-law."

Aside from her famous brother – Gossip Girl actor Chace – Candice holds her own.
The Texas native, 24, a Miss USA pageant alum, who is now employed at KDAF Dallas-Fort Worth, worked her way up the career ladder in college when she attended the University of Missouri.
