At 93, Betty White is giving Instagram a try.
The actress, who already counts 1.2 million followers on Twitter, joined the photo app community on Wednesday – just in time to post a celebratory pic of the Hot in Cleveland cast on the night of the series finale.
"For my first Instagram post I wanted to say how much I love these girls dearly. What a great time we had. #HOTFinale #ThanksForTheLaughs," she wrote next to the photo, in which she poses with costars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves – all of them raising a glass of champagne.

The Hot In Cleveland actress is keeping a kitty that was supposed to be "just visiting."
"Nelson – cuddled up after a big breakfast in his new forever home. #fosterfailure," she wrote on Twitter Wednesday, with a photo of the caramel-colored tabby peacefully napping.

L.A. comic Mara Shapshay isn't finding her life very funny right now.
On May 29, Shapshay filed a negligence lawsuit in L.A. Superior Court against Jenny Craig, claiming she got 1,000 gallstones after using the weight-loss program.
Shapshay, an L.A.-based stand-up comedian who is also a contributing writer to the Huffington Post, says in the lawsuit that about one year after signing up for Jenny Craig, she "developed severe pain in her right abdomen" that sent her to the emergency room in October 2012.

Bonnie Franklin, who died of pancreatic cancer Friday, and Valerie Bertinelli go back nearly 40 years, to the sitcom One Day at a TIme, on which Franklin played her mother, Ann Romano.
Two years ago the actresses reunited professionally, on Bertinelii's series Hot in Cleveland.
Bertinelli said in a statement Friday: "My heart is breaking. Bonnie has always been one of the most important women in my life and was a second mother to me."

One Day at a Time star Bonnie Franklin, who announced last September that she was suffering from pancreatic cancer, died of complications of the disease on Friday, her family told the Los Angeles Times. She was 69.
Franklin died at her Los Angeles home, and is survived by her mother, Claire Franklin, and stepchildren Jed Minoff and Julie Minoff, said the paper.
On the long-running CBS series, which was developed by Norman Lear and on the air from 1975-1984, Franklin starred as divorced mom Ann Romano, alongside Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli, who played her teenage daughters.
