If you think the relationship between Bates Motel's Norma and Norman Bates couldn't get any creepier, Vera Farmiga is here to dismiss that thought.
"These two will be emotionally closer than ever," Farmiga tells PEOPLE of the Bates mother-son dynamic in season 3, which premieres Monday night.
"Sexual feeling does crop up," says Farmiga, 41. "You are going to witness some really unsettling bonding between them."
And, in case fans are wondering if there will be another inappropriate kiss between Norma and Norman, the answer is yes.

The sex of the baby is no longer Up In the Air – it's a girl for Vera Farmiga.
The Academy Award-nominated actress and husband Renn Hawkey welcomed their second child on Thursday, Nov. 4, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Daughter Gytta Lubov Hawkey joins big brother Fynn, 22 months, and is "happy and healthy" along with her mother.
The couple had opted for a delivery surprise. "We don't know what we’re having yet. I just want to have a healthy baby," Farmiga, 37, explained earlier this year.
