Was it a belated birthday party – or just a fun dinner out?
Days after celebrating his birthday at the Staples Center with the L.A. Lakers, David Beckham enjoyed a delicious dinner with wife Victoria and son Brooklyn, 13, and other friends and family at Cleo inside Hollywood's Redbury Hotel.
The group, which included celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves, dined on the restaurant's Mediterranean specialties during their evening out.
A source tells us that David was very attentive, escorting his son and his wife to the restroom and waiting there for them so they wouldn't be bothered by anybody.

David Beckham got a birthday snuggle from his wife, Victoria Beckham, as the couple sat courtside at the Staples Center Tuesday night for the Los Angeles Lakers' playoff game against the Denver Nuggets.
Beckham, who turned 37 on Wednesday, was shown on the Jumbotron with his arm around Victoria – who celebrated her own birthday last month – as the screen broadcast a Happy Birthday message.
Victoria's mother, Jackie Adams, also attended the game with her daughter and son-in-law.
David, a Lakers fan, got another early birthday present in the form of the final score. L.A. defeated Denver for a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven first-round series.

Celebrating a birthday is the perfect excuse to enjoy something sweet to eat – and Victoria Beckham is no exception. But don't count on the fashion designer to indulge in cake and ice cream.
Instead, Beckham, who turned 38 on Tuesday, enjoyed a heaping helping of fruit on her big day.
"Birthday lunch!!! such a lovely day!!!!" she Tweeted with a photo of a plate of berries and citrus.

Beckingham Palace on the block?
That's the word out of Britain, where multiple reports say David and Victoria Beckham are planning to sell their 24- acre English estate dubbed Beckingham Palace.
The asking price is around $28 million, according to the Daily Mail.
When the couple and their children moved to Los Angeles in 2007, they held on to the property, located north of London in Hertfordshire, as a base for when they went back home.

Eva Longoria may have just split from boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, but that didn't keep her from enjoying a night with pals who came out to honor the Desperate Housewives starlet as she turned 37.
"She had a little celebratory birthday dinner," a source tells PEOPLE of Longoria's intimate, seven-person event Tuesday evening at Cut restaurant in Beverly Hills, that included BFF Mario Lopez and his fiancée Courtney Mazza, along with Kevin Connolly. "She had a great time and was really enjoying herself."
The next night, she made her way to West Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont, where she hung out on the patio and "looked stunning and picture-perfect" in a white fitted blazer, tall beige strappy heels and black skinny pants, according to an onlooker. "She appeared to be in an upbeat, cheery mood."
As for the breakup, the Longoria insider says she is "doing okay."

David and Victoria Beckham's eldest child is officially a teenager, and the family bulldog Coco did what she could to mark the milestone.
Victoria shared a photo on Twitter of the pooch donning a party hat Sunday. "Coco is celebrating Brooklyn's 13th birthday," she wrote.

It's the king of soccer ... and his little princess.
David and Victoria Beckham's 7-month-old daughter Harper struck quite the regal pose as she was photographed in his arms heading into New York's Balthazar restaurant this weekend.
Both were in their Sunday best. Harper was done up in a grey sweater-dress, leggings and a white knit cap, while her father – captain of the Los Angeles Galaxy – sported a suit and tie.

Despite offers from clubs around the world, David Beckham isn't leaving – the soccer superstar has signed a deal to extend his contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy for another two years, the Major League Soccer team announced Wednesday.
"I've seen firsthand how popular soccer is now in the States, and I'm as committed as ever to growing the game here," Beckham, 36, said about the deal in a statement on his team's website.
While details of his new contract were not released, published reports say it added up to $15 million, decidedly less than the 18-month, $18.7-million deal the wealthy Qatari owners of French club Paris-St. Germain were willing to offer – but, Beckham also said, his wife Victoria and their three sons and a daughter played a deciding factor to remain in Southern California.

David Beckham Turns Down French Soccer Team

David Beckham isn't saying "au revoir" to L.A. anytime soon.
The Los Angeles Galaxy star, 36, recently turned down an offer to join Paris Saint-Germain's soccer club, leaving the organization's president Nasser al-Khelafi "disappointed."
But Beckham's decision was not a selfish one, as he made the choice based on "family reasons," according to PSG's sporting director, who goes by Leonardo.

Last May, Eva Longoria played host to Victoria Beckham's all-pink baby shower. Well, on Thursday the Desperate Housewives star got to hold the end result: Baby Harper Seven Beckham, now four months old.
The occasion was the Los Angeles Galaxy vs. New York Red Bulls soccer game in the MLS Play-Off match in Carson, Calif. On the field, of course, was Harper's dad, David Beckham, who helped his team win, 2-1 – sending Galaxy on to the Western Conference Finals.
Also in their VIP booth, though not shown in the photo, was Zac Efron, as well as the Beckham sons. Still, most eyes were surely on Harper, outfitted in a pink sweater and thick pink tights under a long, loose blue skirt.
