Rocker Vince Neil Sports Spectacles for His Mug Shot
Originally posted 02/15/2011 03:45PM
Maybe it's the glasses, but rebel rocker Vince Neil looks rather pensive as he poses for his newly released mug shot.
The Mötley Crüe singer, sporting spectacles, a goatee and his long hair tied back, reported to the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
He's due to serve 15 days there after pleading guilty to a drunk driving charge that stems from a DUI arrest last summer. The guilty plea, which spared Neil a trial, was part of a plea bargain that will also see him serve another 15 days under house arrest.

Mark Wahlberg's Past Life
Originally posted 06/24/2004 06:00AM
Mark Wahlberg was able to draw on real-life experience while executive-producing and narrating Leslie Neale's documentary Juvies, which tells the stories of a dozen youngsters who were prosecuted and sentenced as adults. At 16, the Italian Job star, now 33, served 45 days in an adult prison after being prosecuted for his involvement in a street skirmish – an experience that he credits with helping him change his life for the better. "As soon as I saw (the movie), I was, like, obviously blown away by it," he told us at a recent screening of the film at Harvard. "So here we are trying to bring as much attention to it as possible." Next up for Wahlberg: Entourage, a comedy series he executive-produced, premieres on HBO July 18, and he'll appear in I Heart Huckabee's with Jude Law and Dustin Hoffman, due in the fall.
