Christmas came early for Vince Vaughn, with his wife Kyla Weber giving birth to a healthy baby girl on Saturday morning, Dec. 18, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, who weighed 7 lbs. and measured 20 inches long, was born at a hospital in Chicago, Vaughn's hometown. The actor's rep confirms the good news.
"Both of them couldn't be happier to welcome their sweet little girl into their family!" says a friend of the couple's.
It's a first child for both Vaughn, 40, and Weber, a Canadian real estate agent, who married in January 2010.

Vince Vaughn and pregnant wife Kyla Weber giddy-upped and enjoyed a weekend together at a rodeo in her native Canada.
The two, who are expecting their first child, took in the sights at the Calgary Stampede, a world class rodeo held annually – but the actor, 40, seemed to pay more attention to his wife of seven months than to the actual show.
"They were all over each other in the stands," a source tells PEOPLE about Vaughn and the Canadian real estate agent.

She's already been married to Vince Vaughn – albeit in a movie – so Malin Akerman knows the actor made the right decision when he wed real estate agent Kyla Weber in real life.
"We're all in love with his wife," Vaughn's Couples Retreat costar tells PEOPLE. "She's an amazing person."
Akerman and the rest of the cast, which includes Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, and Jon Favreau, bonded with Vaughn's future-bride while shooting the romantic comedy in Bora Bora, where many of the cast brought along their families and significant others to what Akerman described as a "big family event."

He's a swinger no more.
Vince Vaughn married Kyla Weber in a small private ceremony before family and friends on Saturday outside of his hometown of Chicago, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Vaughn, 39, proposed to Weber, 31, a Canadian real estate agent, last Valentine's Day. "They could not be happier," a friend tells PEOPLE. The wedding took place at a historic mansion.
Vaughn told PEOPLE in September that after years as a bachelor he was ready for his life "to be about other people and other things" – even diaper duty. "It's the first time that I really want to have kids," he said.

He's funny ... and romantic!
Vince Vaughn got engaged to Kyla Weber earlier this year – and not just on any day.
"Valentine's Day rolled around and I figured this is not a ship to be missed," Vaughn, 39, tells Ellen DeGeneres during a visit to her talk show scheduled to air Monday, "because I will not forget this date." "So Valentine's Day was the day that I asked her," he continues. "[It] worked out great because it would have been kind of weird to have talked about [getting engaged] and then skipped Valentine's Day as if who knows when this thing is coming."

While it may have been a good 40 years since Bette Midler last sang "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match" in Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof, the Divine Miss M is now ready to play matchmaker herself – to Jennifer Aniston.
"She needs an exciting guy, like a race-car driver," Midler, whose Las Vegas revue The Showgirl Must Go On marks its 100th show on June 7, told PEOPLE about Aniston. "I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who's going to give her a run for her money."
Still in full matchmaker mode, Midler, 63, said, "She should find somebody who is really hot, who's not in show business. Somebody with a lot of money, and she should live the large life and forget about these a--holes. She's a great girl. She's got everything going for her."

Wanna live like a movie star?
For a mere $9,500 a month, you could enjoy the lifestyle lived by Wedding Crashers star Vince Vaughn – minus the fame and fortune, of course.
The motor-mouthed actor – who's made no secret of his love for his hometown of Chicago – is renting out his four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom townhouse in the lively River North area.

Vince Vaughn, let your pal John Favreau be the first one to welcome you to the "day shift."
Favreau, who has been married with children for a number of years, talked to PEOPLE about his friend and costar's recent engagement at the L.A. premiere of (fittingly) I Love You, Man, and what that means for Vaughn's lifestyle.
"Vince has been single for a number of years and we've been on different schedules," Favreau said. "He was sort of on the night shift; I was on the day shift, living on opposite ends of town."
And, he admits, as he settled down, "town" got smaller. "My trick really so far has been to work in town. I won't work on movies that as a director take me out of town. I like to be in California so I can be involved with my kids' school life, their personal life and be a dad and a husband," he said. "And that helps balance out the crazy hours and bigger than life career that I'm lucky to have."
